People who are saying get rid of Rasto are showing they don't have a clue. Why get in a new netminder when the defence is so bad? Fix the actual problem first. Rasto isn't the problem. We all saw last season what happens when you have a bad netminder but a good defence. This year we can see the effects of a good netminder and a poor defence. This from the guy who thinks Voth wasnt to blame for the hugfest against Ryan on sunday. The issue with the D is youd have to replace 3 D men, if you can bring in a netminder who can carry our D and just make the 1 change you would be a lot better off. D men simply arnt out there at the mo for some reason. Ask us,Cardiff, belfast,Hull who have all been looking for solid quality D men since the season started. As for PC being on his notice, he has been off his game so it would figure that he was on his notice. If he really wanted to he could have worked harder and kept his place perhaps.

Stancok and Pelletier (2 D-men - not 3) are not good players and a one-man-show netminder would only disguise the fact for so long before the frustration got to him. Rovnianek - supported by an able defence who know what they are supposed to be doing and concentrate on the task - is probably as good a netminder as Koenig (equally prone to dropping the occasional clanger, incidentally) so who would be in the frame to replace him at this stage of the campaign? So why keep two bad players and ditch one good one? As soon as RR starts costing us games, I'll be on his back like a shot but he hasn't been to blame yet.

Are you actually for real? And you think Voth wanted to hug Ryan? Why was Voth punching Ryan in the back of the head while Ryan clung on then? Are you ok in the head?

Lol im fine 'in the head' thanks, are you ok in the eyes? Do you watch many fights? Have you got Videos of Voths fighting career? He grabs on and punches with the guy tied up, Ryan doesnt. Thats what he did on sunday, ties the guy up then gets quick punches in when he knows he wont get caught out with a big punch

I think I counted 3 punches thrown in his best effort against Clouthier last season. When did he last throw a punch in anger?

Im not talking about Ryan throwing punches ' in anger' in saying Voth hugs and got close in against him on sunday.
Look at the fights Ryan had with Clouthier and Cornish this season and he threw more good punches in those 2 fights than Vother will in an entire season. It just riles me that people expect Shmyr to be everywhere and stop everything, no enforcer has ever, or will ever be that good. If we didnt have him people would see what a difference he makes

Shmyr is one of the best and toughest enforcer's in the league, you say you've seen many fights, what you've actually wrote on this thread is telling anyone who has a clue the total opposite

I'm not sure if it's been updated on the rumours thread but here goes.
I was informed by a close person to the Panthers camp i.e. a player’s sponsor that after the departure of Drouin that two more could be gone as early as this weekend #13 and #4.
I hope we are able to give Rasto a good send off as he was a huge part of our success last year, where as Drouin & Stancok have brought nothing to the table this time around.
Lets hope the team settles down before the end of November......

We would have no injury cover for imports, a situation to be avoided this early on.

For me, there are several better enforcers than Ryan. It's really, really simple to see if you actually watch the games. Look how teams come to our arena and dominate our smaller guys without fear of retribution. We're a joke in the enforcer stakes I'm afraid. How many fights has Ryan won, drawn and lost over the past season and a half? I would say he's won maybe 3 outright.

I don't think that you'll find many better enforcers than shmyr that play at our level shymr though, hasn't been the same has he was last year.
