was told tonight that james signed for this season but has been dropped due to rees leaving and mike not having enough money for the new D man, heard james is looking at sheffied, not sure how true this is though

I would have thought it could. Say for instance Cooke was earning £50 a week thats a whole £200 a month more you could offer an import, of course im just guessing with those figures but it was supposed to be the same reason why Moran was released with Simoes last season to free up more money for the Gallant signing.

as much as i like cookie if it is for the good of the team then so be it,
would we have been happy to keep moran and simoes and not won the playoffs with gallant?
ME normally gets the big decisions right but will be a shame if cookie goes still ! but i can live with it if the team is better!

like has been said before, even if Cooke was on £50 a week thats £200 a month, a decent chunk which could be used to entice a better foreward than £200 less could
