ive always gave that fight a draw, edge to Clouthier but at a big push PUSH!!! ;D ;D Seriously though, that is all I am trying to say. i don't think for one minute Cloots destroyed Cornish. The reason I gave it as a win to Cloots was the fac that Corsnish had quite clearly had enogh and wa trying very hard to keep out of the way.

The thing is that cloots never really looked in trouble against any one he had a fight with.
Its funny how no one apart from ski went with him more than once.
I think the comments are rigt about anyone can beat anyone on any given day but cloots did look solid

As long as an enforcer stops your team getting pushed around too much to win games, they've done their job (assuming they're only needed as an enforcer). It makes little difference if they lose a fight or two over a season. All you can win from a hockey fight is bragging rights. Winning fights might mean you get more kudos on some fight forum somewhere on the internet, but it doesn't earn silverware - ask Clouthier!

Yes true but i feel if we had kept clouthier and got rid of darby then we may have won something. That was the difference against coventry in the final and devils in the semi final of the cups.No physical presence. You know when you have the likes of clouthier and shymr then no one will go for your skillfull players

Thommo knew how Sheffield were going to come out, and found a system to beat them.

John, I was thinking more about Cloots's claims after that he could have done Corny some damage more than your claims he won the fight, sorry
The point I want to make is looking like your going to hurt someone doesnt win a fight in my eyes and if you count punches and rate them id give Corny the win even tho Cloots has the control. Controls only good if you do something with it?!

Not at all , if you have complete control over a person , job done . You don't need to smash a persons face in to win a fight .

As for Clarke, let the Steelers have him his 34 so in the twighlight of his hockey days, although he scored 40pts in 2002/03, mainly cause I remember him playing on a line with Purves and Hadden most of the time, but those two could make anyone look good.

Nothing to do with logic. My tough guy is tougher than yours Rob
