Wouldve thought he'd be the kind of guy to hang on as long as possible like last season. Escpecially as he did so well, he cant be short of offers.

guy in the chippy told me ryan signed a while back, ( must have been talking to the junior hockey guy) would take any of those names with him though, Smith would be a major bonus though, along with clarkie staying.

This was in the news item: "But his finesse earned him a host of admirers and it is understood he has been made an offer he will find difficult to refuse by another club - probably Nottingham Panthers." So from the Manchester end they think he's coming here too

Tony becomes the latest coach to have a go at the big boy spending! Looks like him and Wilson must have been having a good natter while on GB duty.

mmmm on the 31st the NEP said ME was waiting on Clarke and should know within the next few days if he was going to stay at the club or not.
I've got a feeling that this could be the next signing we announce if he is staying.

Interesting comment from Tony. He's not the only one with such comments. There seems to be a fair bit of murmuring around the league about the size of the 'BIG' clubs' cheque books this summer.

teams always bitch when they lose their best players, especially to a rival in the same league, gets the fans off their backs if they say "well we were just outbid!!" doesnt it?...
