i want the league more than anything, but you have to try the hardest for whatevers left As Brian Clough used to say - a trophy is a trophy. Having said that I would like to see the Panthers win the league, it's the only major title I haven't seen us claim! I agree with you about Petricko on Saturday too, deffinatley one of his better games the highlight being that hit that led to our third goal.

I have now heard from 4 different people who are unconnected with each other that he has handed in his notice.
2 of the people are usualy reliable.

Pidge - No one can get a decent run in the play-offs if there are only two games before the final weekend.

Id be extremely happy if we brought in Patterson for Petricko. Defo one of his better games sat but im a big fan of Patterson and Petricko has been too hit and miss and if he doesnt want to be here get him out sooner rather than later

Not his biggest fan at all but if we can get him, I'd be happy, if only because he is an extra body!

unless im mistaken and we was granted special dispensation we did replace CC when he did his knee in just before the play offs. So like i said unless it was special dispensation im guessing there isnt a minutes played rule.

as far as i know the league let us off and let us sign Kudrna, wasnt any loophole just them doing us a favour.
not really a fan of Patterson to be honest, be interesting to see who we would get in though, my bet would be Ellis signing on until end of season.

Nick Petricko has not given in his notice. He is not going anywhere. That is what Mike Ellis said today on the Radio. My friend spoke to Mattius yesterday and he said he is happy here and not planning on leaving. So unless something else goes wrong, or more injuries, then Mike has no need to play. He will also want to keep his 2 remaining ITC cards for any emergencies that occur before the Play Off deadline for new signings. .

Heard this after last nights game had finished. The Vipers are announcing a signing on or before 10th March. The rumours amongst the Vipers fans are that its Petricko.

We won t let him go period. We wouldn t have anyone to replace him with as we ve reached our ITC card limit.
I understand Matty is very happy in Nottingham too.
This is a non starter

Apparently Willy said in an after game season ticket launch thingy, Vipers new signing will be on March 10th, but will be an ex-Nhler playing in europe. Initial speculation appears to concentrate on Iain Fraiser(played with Hinks in Italy) or the return of Eric 'The Big E' Beaudoin. Hopefully Eric, who was, frankly, awesome at the start of last year. The best player I have seen wearing the Vipers shirt. But Rob says lots of things. The most healthy thing is to ignore them. I suspect no new player, and Rob to save the coppers up for a better team next year.
