there is a rumour on the elite forum that sjgren is to return, no solid evidence or of where it came from but maybe someone else can develop on this to see if tis true or not.

Shudra recently said in The Stir that Steffen`s career was "toast"due to the incident at the play-off weekend. Liked him when he was here, but bigger, tougher D-men are what is required this year.

guess it depends how much he wants it, and what the doctors say
i also guess one more head injury and the docs will say enough is enough

i would love stefan back, he was awesome He wasn't awesome at all, he was ok at best. Agreed Newham. He was OK but nothing special. He didn't play with his head up (one of the first lessons of hockey) or his helmet fitted properly and got himself a serious head injury, after which he was never totally effective because he played looking over his shoulder for the hit all the time. Now he's had a second (more serious) head injury, I would not want to take a chance on him - if he were a world-beater maybe you take the risk, but for an average player it's better to go for a safer option who might be able to play 100% and see out the season.

Exactly, its no coinsidence the 2guys who gave him concussion were 6ft 7" ish, he needs to learn to take hits from big guys and keep his neck and head protected

I don't think anyone is disputing that he was a good player The problem is he is prone to concussion and good just isn't good enough as i would always be thinking we could have got better
