Hmmm ... an unpredictable sniper and fighter with whom there's never a dull moment, and who looks like he's been tangoed. A bold move for sure as he's not exactly proved himself at this level.
Better not play him at away games if he does sign - orange and gold is not a pretty combination.

Rushton's a goon who's found his natural level in the EPL. At Elite level he'd struggle to produce the points necessary for an import forward. Oh, and all vending machines would have to be put on high security alert after what happened in a Slough vs Bracknell game earlier this season.
Lets just say a touch of the Hanson's must have overcome him.

we dont need a goon! and we dont need an enforcer unless its to replace shmyr, so hope this guy does not come through the door if he is that kinda player. we need a skillful scorer, like Cote was or Petricko last year.

Hang on a second - when Rushton was at Romford (i.e. pre-ban) he was among the league's top scorers. I believe he also scored well in LNAH. He is renowned primarily for being a fighter but he has got a goalscoring touch. He may not be as good a fighter as Shmyr but I've not seen much to suggest Shmyr's going to stick it in the net.

i'd take rushton over shmyr, whats the point of being a good fighter if you are not going to fight and just going to waltz around all game doing nothing. i beileve rushton wouldn't not do anything unlike shmyr. probably a better player too.
if you back down from a fight and shmyr has done this season, then you might as well of losted the fight

Speaking as a rival fan one of the most infuriating things about the Tangoman was that you couldn't wind him up enough - he took it all and Romford-Invicta is second only to Romford-Chelmsford for rivalries in England. The other thing was that he'd score a hat-trick before starting a fight - he'd goad opponents the whole game mind, but he was most willing to drop the gloves when the result was already decided.

id take a goon, someone who will take silly pims to stick up for his team mates.. Shmyr should have been waiting for Campbell after what he did to Clarkie. But he wasnt, he should have grabbed Payette and beat the daylights out of him.... but didnt.... Someone who will drop the gloves no questions asked whould at least liven a up a bloody dull team

He is going to report to the Quebec Radio X. I wonder what the Bees where paying him. He had the LNAH offer at the start of the season and decided to take the EPL offer. He won't be on a top earners wage in the LNAH but i'd imagine it would be atleast double his EPL wage.
