While browsing YouTube I came across a lot of the videos that used to be played on the big screen during games at the MEN Arena. I really miss the Storm, it was always a great night out. The Steelers came along and gave the game a bit of razzmatazz, Manchester came along and took it to whole new level. The scary entrance video (the Steelers didn't need a scary looking bloke in make up for their entrance video, they had Tommy Ploomer ;D) Warm upPlenty of other smaller videos used during games here

That was great to see and I imagine great atmosphere in the rink. I think the Sheffield too know how to do it and its about time the Nottingham people had a look around and learned a thing or two about entrances and making an atmosphere. I am sorry to say but ours is poor and last season it was shortened and worse then ever. Come on lets have something different to make the crowd go wild!! Sheffield are winning this hands down and we don't like it!

Ottawa Sens entrance from last year, now i no he havent got the technology to do this but i though it was really good. although the music is not necesserily the best the graphics and pictures are awesome! Edit : after wathcing it, i suppose the music isnt as bad as i first thought!

Get some fights on a big screen, always gets a good roar from the fans.

I used to be a storm fan, went to all the games and it was the happiest time of my life. When they folded, gutted dosen`t even begin to describe how i felt. I still miss them now, but panthers were always my second team so i have been supporting them ever since. I still have loads of storm jerseys, programmes and other merchandise.

Just because of the confusion over the new rink, i was contemplating over weather to get a season ticket and then the proposed dates for the completion of the new rink kept getting pushed further and further back and i lost interest in the end and decided to support the panthers.

I never saw the Storm play, I came to Hockey just after the Storm folded. The only trips I have had to the MEN for Hockey was for the Challenge Cup Final that year :-( and the first season of the Phoenix when there was about 100 Panthers fans and 350 Phoenix fans!
To be fair though it was a Sunday afternoon and Man Ure were playing the MIGHTY Arsenal at Old Trafford! (The infamous last minute penalty miss by Ruud (why the long face) Van Niistleroy game)!

Good choice.. One of my memories from the Storm.. I always remembered the "Storm" team bus they used to come in.. Anyone have pictures of it? Jeez i was 15 or 16 back then..

Invented by Steelers fans supporting them against us at a tournament in Milton Keynes.

The Storm were always great opposition, and used to like making the trip to the MEN. Still their funniest moment was their first season (I believe when the were in the old Heineken Division 1) and Sky were showing one of their games vs Bracknell. Lawless was coach I think and was getting interviewed by Sky's reporter whilst the game was in play. Halfway through answering a question Bracknell get a break and hit the bar. Lawless' quote was something along the lines of "yeah we are moving the puck quite well - **** they just hit the bar!" Live TV is always fun
