Hiya,
Bit bored at work, so decided to do this poll. When I was a young lass (I'm going back about 20 years now- can't believe it!) the only teams that were in Nottingham, as far as I remember were:
Nottingham Panthers Nottingham Trojans Nottingham Oak Leafs (the old timers) Nottingham Vipers The U16 (Cougars) The U14 (Tigers)
Since then, ice hockey has grown enormously, and I just wanted to know, how many people currently play, or really would like to get into playing. This is the time to brag about your hockey achievements. Don't be shy! We always hear about some wonderkid, but I want to hear from YOU, the fan! ;D ;D ;D

Pants, just realised I can't vote for more than one option. So the national and regional options are useless!!! Sorry!!!

I play for Kingston Diamonds in WPL, and will hopefully play for Streatham Storm next year in WPL (maybe even Guildford WPL or Romford WD1, not sure yet). I also played for London Uni this year.
I dont get any awards, cos I'm not very good, just the end of season trinket!

Im currently playing for the Lions, but before this i was at Solihull for 18 years! Played for the Blaze before they moved to Coventry, and the Barons both old and new! Never made a full conference or National team, always was a reserve or just missed out due to my age (they changed the age groupings and i missed out on a whole year of junior hockey, so i was always one of the youngest in the age group). Although i did play for an England Select team that went on tour in Chicago. played 9 games in 10 days or something like that! that was intense!

Sorry to be pedantic but Lions are ENIHL not Ed1 (the old name for effectively the same league)
I played Pumas(U10s), Tiger cubs(u12s), Tigers(u14s), then cougars(u16s) but didnt make the step to leopards and quit altho back into now running the ice tigers(rec). Think the names changed now on most teams, im talking back in the old stadium

I've trained with the Leafs not last season, season before but with the NHL lockout the wage cap I was to demending. With the departure of Quinn though the new Coach might need an assistant.
Apart from that bit boring really helped Colorado in the 95 season to the Stanley cup and this year I worked with Cam Ward with a bit of goalkeeper coaching insted, was allrite I guess they didn't do very well though I thought.
