It seems the EIHL Playoff finals will be shown on Premier Sports.
Both Semi finals have appeared in the channel listings for Premier Sports 2 next Saturday.
I assume the Final too will also be shown....

Can we drop the Premier sports bit from the thread title and just use this for the games this weekend? Saves a new thread.

For me it's a good idea, but typically EIHL.
So a coach can initiate a review for goalie interference, but should a massive goal go in with a minute to play the coach can't call a review on it and it's not on the list officials can review?
They must call the major penalty and then review it. I sort of get that, but then that leads to them calling things they maybe dont see as a penalty live, but if they dont call the maybe they cant review it after.
I'm also not sure why 2+2 makes the list? 2+2 only typically called for blood. Chances are if they've seen a high stick on the play and there is blood there is nothing to really review. What's the chances the blood came anogher way? If they dont see it and dont call it they cant review it. So the only reason for a review is if they miss it on the ice, a player says, hey you missed that high stick on me. So they then call the 2+2 by a players call. To then have to review it.

I guess hockey opperations cover the interference bit.

So Sheffield v Guildford at 3 (good luck Flames), and Cardiff v Belfast at 7.
Predictions on the finalists?

Soon to head out to the games. I've always wanted later games on the Saturday, but it is a bit odd not being out for breakfast at 10am. Absoloutly no way i'm starting at 10 a whole 5 hours before face off.
Like almost everybody I'd love to see Guildford get to the final, but in reality it's likely to be Sheffield. Other one is a bit of a coin toss. I'd usually back Cardiff over Giants, but I think this year i'll be behind the Giants. I just hope somebody can prevent the Grand Slam.

On loan to Guildford for the afternoon but don't really have a team to root for tonight. I think Devils probably give Steelers a better game in the final, they seem a more rounded team. Will be interesting to see Bowns vs Whistle later though. Hopefully Lake tones down his moaning, he was constantly in the refs ear in every game at the arena I've seen.

Let's have a Guildford v Belfast final and I'll be happy whoever wins,....as long as its Guildford for all their efforts of recent.

Or, at very least, dump Sheffield out and prevent the Grand Slam. Like others in interested to see the battle of the Brit goalies in the second match. Would like to see a Flames Cardiff final I think, with Flames to win it. But not sure reality is going to work that way

3-3 at the moment, looks about 7 left.
Alvaro for Guildford, followed by Diffley and Balmas for Sheffield, with McParland tying things up for Flames.

6-3 I think, empty net I'd assume.
Scott Allen with that one.
Shame, was a close one for a long time.

6-3 I think, empty net I'd assume. Scott Allen with that one. Shame, was a close one for a long time. Burman was on fire for the first two periods with a 97.1 SV%! He'd been 96%+ for the whole playoffs before that final period. Greenfield however has seemingly gone the other way in the playoffs? Will be interesting decision who starts in the final perhaps? Really wanted the Flames too do it this year rather than one of the other big three

Guildford gave it their all.
Guildford should have had a PP just before Sheffield's 3rd when Alvero was taken down in front of Sheffield's net.
I don't mind letting the smaller nothing penalties go in a Play Off game, but that was a obvious one.
If the Officials are letting things go, I think that Belfast and Cardiff are more physical than Guildford
Was a cracking game however
