Imagine being just so sad that you “like” every post that pertains to something going against the club. Almost as bad as trying to join back up twice when you’ve been banned lol. ISWYDT. lol

I can only echo what has been said by others on here, this team has delivered an entertaining, spirited season in the face of an unprecedented and truly tragic set of circumstances. I have had more fun watching this team than many a Panthers side over the last 25 years and so that's why it feels almost cruel that they don't get the chance to play for us in the playoffs.
I really wish every single one of these players (and Victor Bjorkung) the very very best for the future. I hope we retain some of this group as there are elements of super talented players and it would be a shame to wipe the slate clean and start afresh. Ultimately, it's down to the individuals themselves and their personal feelings, but whatever they choose, I'll be following all of their careers closely with great interest. A fantastic group of players.

I don’t buy what’s being trotted out that the players can’t wait to get on the first flight out of here. The way they’ve been battling, the celebrations when we got the OT winner yesterday and the passion that they’ve shown in not seeing a bunch of guys that don’t want to be here. In fact it’s the reverse that’s true and I’m seeing a group of players that are wearing a Panthers jersey with pride which we haven’t seen in a few years now.

Huge crowd again today and the best atmosphere I’ve ever seen at the NIC. Panthers org need to really build on this now and really put together something special. I really hope that the Panthers can try to keep the best of the core and put out a team next season to really challenge hard. Make this season the starting point for something special for both the organisation and the many thousands who come to stand up and be counted every game. This can’t be just another season. It has to have someone put down a real marker for ALL involved. Yes. Given everything this needs to be a phoenix moment for me. Something has to come out of this or it will be hard for anyone to fully recover: players, fans, staff and organisation. And like you I believe there's something in this group to build on. We were sat 2nd before we lost Adam, having played as many "big teams" as any of the teams in the top half of the table. That was not for nothing. Last year 50pts would have got us 6th. And it's more than we actually scored last year. Despite everything they've had to deal with What we would have achieved with Adam for two years is anyone's guess. But for me we need to come back strong now for everyone's sake I think that’s spot on, we need something to come if this season. Personally I think keeping hold of the players we want to keep hold of will be hard - a blend of bigger offers elsewhere and wanting fresh start. I’m hoping if parades decides to start fresh somewhere else we encourage Kevin Moore to take over. It’s not impossible to keep a core but the back of my mind says it’s going to be an uphill challenge. No doubt rumours will pop out over the next few days and weeks…playoff weekend is normally plentiful for them too.

I had heard that Parades won't be staying, but I hope that Moore does and can build on what we have.
Don't think we will keep all, some will move on for a fresh start, better offers or retire. But those that are wanted or want to stay are signed up pronto.

I'd hope to get some Brits signed up sooner rather than later. I've said in the past I'd rather see us keep and develop British role players than sign fourth-line imports who are here for a season and then away again.
It's obviously not the only factor in recruiting a successful team but having continuity and guys who know what is expected would be a good place to start.

We can then decide on the way forwards, who do we want to keep and start negotiations.

Seemed kinda of weird to me going home after the game. It has obviously been a season like no other but it seemed strange the season had now finished. It seemed to me that with the season stopping, then starting again and the month or so of losses, that the season only started properly in February. From then until the end the team showed what a good team they were and they were great to watch and then before you know it the season is over. Even if they had made the playoffs it would still have felt like the season had finished too soon. Maybe it's just me but it seems strange that in the last couple of months the team were playing well, dispite the injuries and then bang the season has ended.

I’ve been reflecting on how everything unfolded yesterday. Like everybody else, I was gutted that we’d not managed to reach the playoffs. The club, and the players especially, deserved a shot at winning the playoff trophy.
But what a finale to our season. We saw the teams ever present character in coming from behind twice (we never make it easy😂). Henbrant blitzing down the ice and rifling it into the net. Rok coming up big in the 3rd when Manchester were firing back. But the scenes as Lunsjö’s shot hit the back of the net in OT were amazing, the roar of the crowd, the celebrations on the ice and in the stands, the joy and elation that everyone was feeling. What a wonderful moment and a brilliant final game in front of our magnificent supporters.
Everyone at the club should be proud of themselves. I’ve run out of words to describe the team but what a pleasure and an honour it has been supporting them. Thank you. Proud to be a Panther
