Doucet can’t have been happy with what he was getting in return for the money spent on them I imagine, they both came with great experience and I have to admit I did expect more from them. I assume that we’ve get players coming back from the IR otherwise it would be a strange decision considering the amount of games we’ve got in a short period of time.

Jokinen never really settled and certainly didnt have the impact, for example, Sheffield's short or long term replacements have had. Suoranta did what he probably thought he was supposed to do, forecheck, provide energy, chip in now and again with points. Unfortunately the team clearly needs more than that.

Was just thinking the same especially as the Christmas period is so hectic and the injuries we have. We are looking mighty thin on the ground. Cant say I'm looking forward to the next few matches here's keeping everything crossed.

Agreed.
Genuinely surprised these two haven't worked out better. Given where they both came from I was expecting more along the lines of Latal in Sheffield, speedy, technically very good and great on the puck, able to score at a good lick in this league.
I think it just didn't click, and a parting of the ways, whilst regrettable, may be best for both sides.

2 things to add/ think about. 1, do we think either or both of them will stay in the league?
2, do we think they have a ready made replacement…only me that thinks it all points towards BOC with Matheson taking reduced minutes and coaching more potentially?
I must say neither would surprise me!

I wouldn't want BOC as a Dman, even to replace Metheson. Sign him as a winger maybe as that is what he probably should be in the first place.

As it stands, we’re looking a bit short compared to Sheffield Submitted game sheet (with lines etc) is now up on the EIHL website for today's game in the game centre. No sign of any new names on the game sheet for Nottingham. So doesn't look like they'll be any last minute surprises now |
