Couldn’t get to the game today, what are people’s initial thoughts on Horvat? Was he on a line with Ollie and Lacho all game? He was. He played the body well. He got a goal and a assist so have to say he did a job. More effective than Quist either way. I can’t say he was fantastic but I can’t complain either As it stands, he's got a goal, an assist and a Tony Hand assist! (3rd goal) Speedy, plays the body well, not unskilled, he is a similar player to Herr, from first looks.

And after all of that, Panthers sit 5th, but 3 games and 6 points behind the top of the league team, with one less loss. Panthers have only lost 2 more games so far than the form team in the league, the Devils. It's a very tight league.

We also know this weekend that between them, Giants and Steelers must drop at least 2 points (possibly as many as 4), and that Clan and Devils must drop at least 1 point between them (could be as high as 2) because of games against each other. The weekend games aren't going to be easy, but they are a golden opportunity to make up points and close in on the top places.

We've picked up form so well, but had yet another bad one against them. 2 points there and we would look even better placed obviously. It may only be 2 points but it feels like so much with how tight it is. We are still well in the mix, but ee have to find a way against Sheffield at some point to be in with a shout I feel.

Arguably, there are no easy games anymore and if you have an off night, you’ll get beat. There isn’t a team that’s head and shoulders above the rest either. We’ve just got to take it one game at a time, continue working hard and that will bring us success.

From the highlights he does look quite energetic and speedy, see how he gets on this weekend!
