Took a point. Shame we aren’t very good in O/T but a point is better than nothing.

The script was written 20 years ago and we are sticking with it.
A point in Sheffield isn't a bad result but as ever it's the manner in which it happened.

Point's okay, but 4-2 up and the monkey stays on our back.

Fair result. All over them 2nd period and got rewarded. 3rd period seemed to aim to play out the gams and try and hold on to the lead and got punished. Overtime was poor, but we're used to that.
Frustrating because we created a lot of breakaways that could have put the game to bed, but didn't take our chances.

So... decidedly better than the car crash that was the team 5-6 weeks ago, but still with room for improvement? Sounds about right...

A point isn’t too bad, but it’s the manner in which we always seem to fall apart that hurts. If we can pick up a win tomorrow then I’ll be content with the weekend.

Realistically any point up there is a good point. In terms of the league, we’d be equal with them if we win our games in hand. So we’re not as far off the pace as we could be.
6 weeks ago, we lose that in regulation. Now we’re consistently picking up points. If we go to Manchester and win and beat them next weekend at our place in regulation, we’ll have come off better over all.
Overtime is a fickle mistress. I still think when we add Golokovs back in, our team will look a lot more balanced

Did Rheault get any ice time? What a warier if he did, playing injured since the start of the season.

Yippeeee.....at last the penny has dropped. 👍🤣 😂😂😂😂 P.s. and Rheult who offers nothing Quist- not suited to this league Malmquist not physical enough Golovkovs in and Rheault out makes a huge difference to the dynamic of the team. Put him on that third line with Malmquist and Betteridge and we’ll have three lines that look dangerous. Nobody is sure how far Golovkovs is from a return, but it’s worth noting he was sat with the Panthers fans yesterday and he’d no longer got a pot on his leg and he didn’t need crutches to help him walk. Hopefully we see him sooner than expected.
