<link>I have to admit... Carr is gradually eroding my earlier less-than-favourable impression of him. Not all the way there yet, but he's getting there... sometimes it's nice to be wrong.

Whilst I'm generally with Shaggy re Carr (unconvinced at first, but getting there...) I can't believe that this hasn't generated some comment, if not exactly debate. Carr (and the D as a whole) was superb at the weekend, and this is a deserved reward. Fair play to him, he was immense. Nice to see Bulmer's block make it into the top 5 EIHL plays of the week too.

Carr is actually leading the league in GAA (2.17) and Save % (92.15) - credit where credit is due, they are excellent numbers.
I've always been fine with Carr personally, never really seen the need to get rid, hes solid and unspectacular which is, for me, exactly what you want in a goalie

For me, he's one of those goalies that never fills me with confidence, yet he clearly does the job. He doesn't calm me in the slightest, but as the stats show, he's doing well.
Only concern from early in the season that is still in the back of my mind is that when he's conceded early, he seemed to lose his head a bit in games.
