Revenge is sweet in the second meeting of the weekend. Time for some big performances against the reigning League Champions. Could be Emperor Jullians' statement arrival in Panthers colours. The Grapes Count = Panthers 2 : Giants 1.

Stand by for a fast and very physical response from the Giants today after having their grapes crushed last night. Hope we can produce another sixty minutes of quality. If so then Adam Keefe and his troops could return home to the Emerald Isle on the back of two defeats. Panthers will need to be ready for an early onslaught and match the Giants in every department including effort and desire. If so, it could be a great weekend or the Merry Men in Mushy Pea Green.

Another win, and a shut out for Carr or goal for Malmquist would really round off a good weekend

I've lost all confidence in us winning tonight now. We are changing to the black kit.

Very well played this weekend, yes Belfast has a lot of the play but they are a better side than us right.............guess we can enjoy the next few days without you know who...

Incredible weekend. Couldn't attend tonight but sounds a bit more of a hang on under serious pressure type performance. Great to see we did it a different way to last night.
The only slight down side for me is that Carr didn't get back to back shut outs. He deserved one last night and probably would have had it if it wasn't for the strange To many men call. He's had a great weekend, as have the whole team to be fair.

It is heartening to note that Carr and the team as a whole conceded just one goal in six periods this weekend... and that was defending a SIX-on-three penalty kill!
Impressive stuff...

Absolutely fantastic weekend by the team. Massive effort and Bulmers block at the end just about summed the whole weekend up for me.
Oh, and Herr is the real deal. Real difference maker.

Did anyone have a clear view of Belfast’s chance right at the end?
Seemed pretty much like an open goal?!

Who had a fiver on a 4 point weekend then? Iggy? No i didn’t,doubt anybody did. It’s rather amazing what happens when you go and spend some money on some top end quality isn’t it. Glad they finally realised what was needed,if only they’d do it in August rather than giving other teams a ten point head start !

I didn’t go to either game this weekend but to win both games is a phenomenal achievement, one very few of us would have thought possible if we were being honest.
More please Panthers!

Another good win, which is starting to remind me of Panthers of old, with a spirit to keep the opposition out. Carr had a very good weekend and deserved his S/O tonight. The defence were pretty solid and kept it clean. Forwards worked very hard. My only criticism tonight was our checking. We let Belfast check everyone in sight, yet we seemed to pull out of our checks half the time. All in all, an excellent 4 point weekend.

Also wanted to say, what a difference the Block 19 boys and girls make. Their constant chanting and drumming meant that the other blocks joined in making a much better atmosphere. Well done.

What a weekend, my voice is shot but it’s been worth it. We expected a backlash today and we saw it, Belfast tried to intimidate but the boys stood up to them, massive props to Gui and Josh.
We were solid as a team again, the boys were putting their body’s on the line and Carr deserved to get the shutout. He should be buying Bulmer a drink though, he came up clutch with the block. He’s really turned it around and he’s becoming the player we thought he would, I certainly need to eat some humble pie but I’m so glad.
This is why we love this team. Let’s keep it up!

OK, I'm impressed, even the still current Mrs Jord v4 is impressed as well.... And she's hardly ever impressed.
Very very well done Panthers.

Even the biggest of cynics cant say that was a fantastic weekend of hockey. We knew Belfast would want to get physical and we answered the bell. We absorbed everything they threw at us and cane out with a fully deserved 4 point weekend.
Turning point of our season perhaps? Seems like we’ve got full buy in from our team lead by our Captain who can do no wrong right now.
