As if the weekend couldn't be worse, a tacky themed night when we get pasted.

Genuine concern ahead of this one. Focus should be on what is happening, or not, on the ice - not some ridiculous fancy dress farrago in the stands. The Grapes Count = Panthers 1 : Devils 3. Class comes to the top over effort,

Got to build on the result from Saturday, got to think that Cardiff will be out for revenge but we've just proven, We can beat them.
Got a feeling that Ladies night is going to be full cringe.
Looking forward to Men's night lol

I think this game will be tied at 60 minutes with Cardiff getting the extra point. They'll come at us hard after last night but we will be solid. I'd have snapped your hand off for a 3 point weekend before hand and thatd still be a decent result tonight.
Sounded like a great win last night and a great performance from Carr. Hopefully we go with Carr again tonight. Not sure I will be able to cope if we rotate for tonight, and that's nothing to do with Whistle, he has been decent so far.

An unexpected win not even considering our current form but just for the fact we often find it tough going at Cardiff.
We MUST build on it tonight. Hopefully Cardiff have a bad show up here and we take advantage otherwise as some may suggest it could just be papering over the cracks.

It always seems to be good game against Cardiff no matter how bad our form is. Hoping to sneak a tight win but would realistically take a point.

1-1. Panthers took the lead and Devils equalised 9 seconds later.
Devils looking much better and until our goal we had next to no time in their zone. They put pressure on and keep it in our zone well, but we look like we could catch them on the counter.

In fairness, not many had this as a split weekend, and at least we're not now on a 9 game losing streak.

And back to normal.
Cardiff miles better than us throughout the game. That’s how they expect to play, their forwards work so hard on the forecheck they hunt you down in your own end and wear you out. Our forwards were having to work extra hard to give us an option out. Come the end of the game we were gassed.
I would have taken a split weekend before yesterday, but it’s frustrating to lose yet another home game. Also, it was suicide from Wallace putting Tetlow out after Cardiff had just got their 4th, not the player you want out there at that point I’m afraid.

2 goals in 19 seconds.. classic Panthers 😂 😴😴😴 Not wrong though is he. As boring as it may be to read it from the same names so often there are more and more people starting to understand why. We were better at times tonight than I have seen from us before, but quality came through in the end and they outclassed us.

The reason the same people post these things is time and time again Panthers dont learn and make the same mistakes time and time again. When Panthers went 1-0 up the conceded after 11 secs!! Then the collapse in the 3rd.. it's all too familiar story Onto the passengers Bulmer 0+0 and 0 pims! Malnquist 0+3 Quist 2 goals Golovkovs 2 goals Just WTF!

I did see some improvements tonight, but we still have the same problems. All 5 of their goals were way to easy for starters and I dont think Carr could so much about any of them. Bulmer is an absoloute waste of space, he needs to go if he cant step up. We are so, so lightweight and it says it all when Ollie is throwing the biggest checks, still! Ok, we conceeded 5 tonight and managed to score 3 but we still desperatly need to add forwards. We may have a full quota of imports playing but thats only because we are playing 6 import D + Tetlow. It would really help if we could utilise our import quota more effectively.
Well, at least we broke the streak this weekend.

The team is now playing GD’s “vision” but we have nowhere near the skill or class to be able to play that way. Worked better yesterday as Cardiff had a huge off night. We will win some and lose a lot.
Smallest crowd I have seen at a Cardiff game today too.
