But incredibly naïve and asking for a fall... Nothing wrong in being optimistic.. the only ones setting themselves up for a fall are Sheffield cardiff and Belfast as all those think they are winning the league 😁

This is a rebuild season as long as fans go in with that expectation we could have a good season. I will be very surprised if we win anything. I hoping we get a culture change out of this season. That Wallace can bring in the hard working ethic and we're fun to watch again. The other thing i wants is we find some gems that we can then build a team around. Panther just dont retain good imports for multiple seasons and its a problem. But make no mistake we're playing for forth. well with Doucet helping recruitment in Cardiff hopefully he knows to build a core like they did. I think both Malmquist and Golovkovs will surprise a few people. Golovkovs won’t surprise me - super quick, hard to get off the puck, industrious.

However Belfast have jumped above us in quality this season, and so have Sheffield on paper. I’m hoping we can pull it our of the bag.

Maybe things could turn out right for panthers. We've always had high expectations from around the league with everyone expecting us to be right up there and continually fall short. This season no one is giving us a chance so maybe we can be the surprise package

Belfast for the win with a cracking roster and a very good/disciplined coach.
Sheffield & Cardiff will make it interesting up top.
All lies on Wallace’s shoulders whether he can inspire a mediocre roster - mainly effected by Brits upping and leaving - into any kind of cup challenge. Realistically we’re not going to trouble the league leaders.
Guildford will be good, as will the Clan. Depth will always let them down however.

I get the feeling that we are going to be the underdogs next season against the arena teams, but I hope that this might work in our favour and we turn into a bit of a surprise package. I think that the other teams, and their fan’s, may under estimate us.
I’m not actually dissapointed at the way our roster has shaped up, I’m actually quite excited to see how it works out, especially seen as they won’t have the heavy burden of expectation on their shoulders.

The MK team that played us second part of last season was far better than early season even though they could only scrape 2 lines at times. They played as a unit, great PP and defended well as a box on the PK. They were physical in your face too. It will be interesting to see what he does with a better fuller squad. He does like speed.

They were still a million miles off the bottom at the end. It was admirable the way he stood up with MK while the club died on its hairy bum, I can see why their fans love him for it, but half a season of losing with a club everyone else must've expected to beat with one hand tied behind their back does not a very good coach make. He still has plenty to prove in that department.

As I said, raging against the dying of the light is admirable, but we're not at that end of the spectrum. Like the roster they've assembled, he has plenty to prove.
