I think I covered my views in the rumours thread but I think he’s a great pick up

To recap 25 goals lasts season, 14th best in the league 57 points, 19th in the league +8 rating 10th highest PIM at 106 NHL experience (minimal I will grant you)
Overall, he ticks the boxes of goals, big body, defensively sound and can look after himself and team mates.
There’s no huge stars to this team but it looks like a puzzle had been put together quite nicely

Good signing, knows us, knows the league & knows what’s required. A big guy who puts up the points, I think we’ll surprise a few people this season & at last I’m starting to look forward to the start of the season.

Good signing but can’t help but feel we lack goals massively.

Good pick up, good physical can hit can score and has done so in this league. Good experience in higher quality leagues and is fairly young. I'll take that 😁

Good signing - yes As good as Prince - no Happy - yes Will it make us competitive - yes In isolation a good signing. It’s the general level of the other pick ups which will mean that challenging for any trophy other that the ‘serving platter’ will be difficult. In order to challenge we would need to add a player at Prince’s level and thus have a spare plus another top end d-man. I think this is unlikely as being competitive pays the bills. Think Bulmer will be popular so wish himlluck

The kind of player i like. And as a stand alone signing would be pleased. However given what we've already signed cant help but be disappointed.
I think we lack goals. We have plenty of 2nd liners but who are our go to studs when you need a bit of quality to unlock a defence?

Bulmer is a good player, produced well in Fife last season, but I don’t see him as a go to player. I feel like we need a player who can unlock a defence, produce a moment of magic, someone in the mould of Martin, Linglet, Dwyer, Murphy. Bulmer is a different player, he’s blue-collar, he’s been described as brutish already. A good signing and I think he’ll be a fan favourite, but I just feel like we needed something different.

I actually think we’ll be okay for goals and here’s why....we’ve signed players coming off goal scoring seasons. Bulmer and Quist got plenty last season. Bulmer was 11 points off Martin last season in a much weaker Fife team. Malmquist got 11 or so goals in 30 odd games. In the NCAA that’s pretty good going. Golokovs got 15 goals in a frankly terrible MK team. I see his numbers going up and I also think Perlini will be better suited to this team than last years brutes.
Speed kills and I feel we’ve got that in abundance. Yes we don’t know what theirnputour will be until they play but I don’t think this teams as bad. At least we’ve got players who have put up career years in the last 2 years rather than players who’s career years game 5 or 6 years ago (Jakob the exception obviously)

That's what NB wants tho' he wants Europe. makes me wonder if that's the goal he's set for Doucet & Wallace like he did with Corey, have we been built for the Conti cup.

A good signing, and one which ticks more than one box for me. I was worried we'd get a point scorer with no size, or a guy with size who lacks offensive output. Bulmer gives us both.
Dont be fooled by his stats though, as a couple have said previously he was playing 1st line, 3 line hockey in fife, so his stats may be inflated. Now that could go 2 ways. down - hes getting less ice time and therefore less chance to put up points because hes maybe not playing top line, and not every powerplay, and shares the ice between 4 lines not just 3. Or he clicks with his supposed "better" linemates and will have a similar output. either way, just like every other player its wait and see, but i certainly like this signing
Forwards for me then... Quist - Loiseau - Bulmer Herr - Golovkovs - Jakobs Malmquist - Perlini - Rheault Betteridge - Lacho - Kelsall
or - for evenness...

Im just assuming/guessing here but this roster looks like a mid table roster to be honest. I think he want Tim and Gui to build a core like cardiff have done, have have got a lot of young players that have good potential. I don’t think we will win the conti cup but I can see Gui (being around the cardiff recruitment) being smart enough to build a solid core.

Tend to agree with this, but then again I don't think one player was going to make this team personally. So Bulmer is a good addition, glad they got him, hope he does well. I don't really get this talk of how quick we're going to be, why would we be so much quicker than the other teams in the league?

Solid if unspectacular signing. Not exactly set my pulse racing but looks to me a typical "Wallace type of player" - namely, hard working with a solid work ethic and true team mentality. My Grapes are fully grown in readiness for the opening face-off. Let the action begin.

“Where he helped Florida to a regular season title.” Shameless. It was the Florida Everblades.

I've only glanced through this briefly so I could be wrong but I believe this is first time we have signed a player who scored 25+ in the previous EIHL season since Gui Doucet, although Doucet went from Hull to Denmark and then to us mid-season.
Last time we signed someone who bagged 25+ direct from another EIHL team was Johan Molin in summer 2007. Found that really surprising.

This is such a massive signing for panthers that it warrants a single page of comments...... says it all really...

The last 3 signing have been disappointing. We needed a top line and we signed a second line.

Looks a good addition to what is looking like an industrious roster; I’d take Guptil back personally.

I would have been happy to have Bulmer at the Devils, the guys physical, knows where the back of net is and will drop the mitts. think you guys will be surprised by your team once the season starts.
