He was for me. Missed 9 games suspended, which is far too many when you can't replace the import slot.
People will argue about the breakdown of those bans, but IMO in total he deserved at least that. He got off cheaply on 2 occasions, even if one was more than it should've been.

Much rather rissling than lepine looked better more mobile threw more hits and would fight.

I don't think he was a loose cannon. I still maintain that that hit on Mosey was good. In fact the biggest loose cannon moment was when Lepine got dropped in OT by someone half his size against Dundee and speared the guy and cost us the game The Mosey hit was perfectly fine, I was thinking more his other hit against who slips my mind & the fact his card was potentially marked from that point. I'd rather have Lepine playing the protector role than Rissling. Hughes & Rissling offered a hit for the flow of the game, Lepine can protect a team... Or at least could in his first stint. i think rissling is a better fighter, better hitter, and better defence man after you compare the two last season.
