I wonder if the Sunday games will impact on the attendance figures with fewer walk ups looking to start their boozey night out? On the plus side, the crowd will probably be made up more of “true” hockey fans. This is true ..

Four Steelers CC games before they face each other in the league.
What’s the opposite of ‘aperitif’?

People moaning about lack of Saturday games comes across as a bit arrogant, why do we deserve more Saturday games than anyone else?

October 12th-13th is looking disgusting. Guildford away on the 12th, and Fife away on the 13th.
Overall, I'm not too fussed about the fixtures, some good and some bad. I like Saturday night games but it's no big issue with us now having less. If not at the away games (gives people more opportunity to go) then it'll allow for more things to be done over a weekend.

Because traditionally Saturday night has been hockey night in Nottingham. just because we’ve had it our own way doesn’t mean it should continue I just feel the whole feel of a Saturday game is better than a Sunday one where half the crowd have the dreaded back to work feeling and the atmosphere isn't as good. However it does mean I could do more away games at other venues on a Saturday now.

There is certainly a strong arguement that a chunk of these fixtures have been planned to help deklver results as a priority over other things. The Christmas fixtures have still been planned to do what they could to give the fans the best they could.

So there are 10 Saturday Games 10 Sunday Games1 Friday Game 5 Mid week Games for the League I gave up my ST this year, was a bit worried I'd end up doing what I did last time when I gave Blacky even more money by buying individuals for almost every game. No such trouble this time though, that's 10 I'll definitely avoid. Nice one Gary.

Those days are over.. time to accept change But if I had known this I would not have wasted my money on a season ticket. Lots of people meet up with family on a Sunday etc

Lots of people meet up with family on a Sunday etc Like I said theres nothing on a ST application form saying "15 Saturday games guaranteed" You take the risk buying a ST, I haven't had one in years mainly due to me moving further away and the game in this country being rather mundane compared to how it used to be

Disappointing that 2 out of the 12 Saturdays secured from the arena have been wasted on the pointless challenge cup games but we all know why that is.

Anyone know if the rent for the Arena is higher on Saturdays than Sundays?

Personally, I prefer Saturday home games fo Sunday home games as the atmosphere is much, much better. I’d also agree that a Friday night game is better than a Sunday night game for the same reason. The poor atmosphere on a Sunday makes it more comfortable for teams coming into our building as well I feel.
On the flip side, at least we can get to more away games on the Saturday.

For me, when you buy a season ticket, you have to assume that 80% of your games are on a Saturday or Sunday. You then have to ask yourself that if you know you can’t do a majority on one of those days, is the season ticket right for you?

If it works for the majority I'm fine with it, as said it'll save me from myself anyway so works out quite well for me. But I've always loathed those 4pm face-offs since they were introduced, just doesn't do it for me at all. It's an evening event in my mind. Plus I like Sunday lunch
