To say they’re in the CHL, it’s not like Cardiff and Belfast are massively ahead in terms of players signed. 6 and 5 imports respectively. Cardiff haven’t confirmed Richardson or Myers in the Brit pack either Both these guys won’t be going anywhere, and that’s a fact. Is this the Matt Myers is not leaving Mardiff 2016 fact or the we're going to win the league 2019 fact? Just checking, your rep here is quite low you see.

Cardiff haven’t confirmed Richardson or Myers in the Brit pack either I noticed that earlier today when looking at their roster, there’s still some possibilities left for us on the Brit front. We normally have 2 events with multiple player announcements - one a fans day at the rink - the other the owners summit in Calgary. Can’t see Richardson going anywhere after so many years in Cardiff. Myers has his business and family in South Wales which is why he left you guys the second time - he’d still be with you if that wasn’t the case so I can’t see him going anywhere else either.

Farmer would be a very big loss but personally I would rather be playing against Lee than with him. That’s pretty disrespectful against a player who gave his best for you guys, Guildford wouldn’t take a bad player. There's little love for Lee on here, and I'm really not sure why. Guildford have got a whole lot better signing him.

But he performed really well out there - as did David Phillips!

Because it's easier to create a scapegoat and blame him for everything than it is to accept that maybe there isn't a quick & easy explanation for various failings and setbacks. Agreed. Couldn’t understand why he had the nod for GB having missed all the games through injury. But he performed really well out there - as did David Phillips! The whole team did us proud... a few mistakes & failings here or there (the game vs Denmark was a bit painful!) - and Steve Lee was no exception. Those who slag him off as useless really haven't got a clue.

It may well turn out to be true, but unless you have absolute and incontrovertible proof that they have already signed, then it is not "a fact". Anything could happen...

What’s your take on it Bob, would you be pleased if Hughes came back? Personally, yes. Head and shoulders the best D man last year for me, even if his "form" (objectively measured by +/-) dropped a bit at the end of the year. He was so far in front, the rest could barely see him. See below. These 2 have just been released by Sparta Prague. www.eliteprospects.com/player/35624/zach-sillwww.eliteprospects.com/player/19181/steven-delisleDelisle looks in a similar mould to Hughes. Looking into it a bit deeper, I think there could be a chance of us signing Sill. He’s played with Wallace in the Pittsburgh system, he’s got the quality to be a good 2nd line LW, or an excellent 3rd line LW. He’s physical, he’s a capable enforcer and I think he’d be a fan favourite if we signed him. Hopefully we’ll get some signing news tomorrow considering it’s the season ticket deadline.

I don't know if this is the right place to put this but a player that has links to former panthers players (college hockey with Perlini and McGrattan in San Diego) is Corey Tropp, he's predominantly played AHL and is exactly the type of player we need, puts up good points and also fights. www.eliteprospects.com/player/12187/corey-tropp

He'd clearly be an excellent addition, breath is not being held though.

Yup players of that calibre don't target the EIHL as their next stop..

What's the difference between this thread and rumours. To be honest this thread should be called something like "Player Wish List" rather than implying something is "Possible"

To be honest this thread should be called something like "Player Wish List" rather than implying something is "Possible" Its called possible because I wanted people to keep it realistic rather than throwing out nhlers in their prime. and obviously its not a rumour, so kind of like a wish list.
