Matt Nickerson? ? yes, why not. whenever he played at nottingham I noticed how, even though he's not the quickest or most mobile, he just did the simple things well in his own end, looked after his goalie, and had a quick release wrist shot. It was like he knew he wasnt the greatest d-man but just did his job. Pity about his temper though !! |

Anybody with character but those types are very rare in today's era. Past players who I thoroughly enjoyed watching included Brad Both and Paxton Schulte.

Melancon was too - 1987/8. |
