Just a point, I hope Belfast win tomorrow solely for the fact that Evan Mosey deserves to win nothing for the way he celebrated in front of our fans this afternoon. He’s scored cup winning goals for us, our fans have loved and adored him, we’ve welcomed him back with open arms after leaving the first time, but the money pincher has the audacity to celebrate and fist pump the air directly in front of our fans after scoring a goal. He deserves nothing and I hope everyone is routing for Belfast tomorrow. Bitter much? You guys ragged on him endlessly after he came back. The problem is that you couldn’t offer him winning hockey. No one’s fault but Nottingham. As for money bags - ask Belfast fans how much their team spends. It’s a lot more than ours, and their owners own their rink, so they pay nothing as well. It’s more than yours, and Sheffield as well. I couldn’t care less if we got booed tomorrow, but the idea that we buy our success is nonsense compared to the arena teams.

If Belfast win we'll hear it about their Grand Slam being better than ours (Conference title and all that).
They don't forget stuff over there, apparently.

There was no need for the way he reacted in front of our fans after scoring, that guy was adored by our fans and he knows it. I am bitter but my club has made me that way. They won’t do what it takes to get it done. I travel the UK supporting this team, as do many others, yet my club don’t appear to see anything but the next home game. When you have players like Mosey, that you appreciate, it hurts.

Well that proves Munson is not as good as what people think. He was rubbish today. Would probably want most of those back. To be fair the whole team bottled it. Key part of your post is the last part. Munson didn't have a great game, no doubting that but what was in front of him did diddly squat to help. Even with Carey Price in net we'd have been lit up. Lost count of how many goals Cardiff scored as a result of our defence standing next to a Devil in front of net giving Munson pretty much zero visibility. Poor game from Munson but there were maybe one or two skaters who played okay, the rest was shambolic. 100% to me it just proves he’s not quite at the level we need yet. We can’t go into the conti cup with that. We need a big game goalie.

The worst defensive performance I think I’ve ever seen from a Panthers team. They really did save the worst for last and that is some achievement.

My favourite part of today though was chatting with Panthers fans afterwards in Saltbox. Knowledgeable and with a good sense of humour. It’s why supporting hockey is so much fun.

And why mock him for going to Cardiff for more money, hockey careers are short so good for him, I’d do the same as would you! . He turned down Devils and much more money to come back for a second stint with us because he committed that to Corey, that was honourable. I’m hoping for a Cardiff victory tomorrow as if Giants win they’ll be shoving the fact they won a ‘proper’ Grand Slam down our throats along with that lot up the road for ever more,

Pity it didn’t matter that much to any of ours. I hope Belfast win as it will be a genuine grand slam and another part of Panthers BS can be expunged forever too.

I feel utterly humiliated and ashamed of my team. The majority of this team MUST never wear the Panthers uniform again. As for the coaching staff ? Well today hey might just have destroyed a young 'keeper who didn't even remove his cage helmet when pulled. His confidence level must be rock bottom and he should have been pulled after Cardiff's 6th goal when it was obvious to all that the game was beyond us. Cut the crap about injuries, etc. We were simply awful. This loss sums up the entire season. Also, cut the crap about marching into a Europe for another attempt as regaining the "tea tray". Fans want success in our domestic league not twopenny meaningless foreign " Mickey Mouse" tournaments. Please let the Club confirm on Monday morning that Strachan is no longer anything to do with our Club. If we end up playing ANY tournament in Europe after the season we just had it will be an absolute travesty.

I have been saying all year this team was pretty useless. Even MK had a few good games but for some reason when we did it was thought they were world beaters. They weren’t.
It was interesting to hear Lord say in the press conference that Linglet shouldn’t be in this league but for a uni place. Who did we offer uni places too? Lepine who was mostly useless and just here to sell seats, Row (auto correct) was just plain useless and a third spot netminder. One team offering uni spots to improve the team and another bunch of idiots just saving wages.
The sad thing is I wasted a whole winter watching this bunch of holiday makers and failures on the ice so who is the bigger idiot? Me I think.
On the upside I am on a beach on the other side of the world and the webcast was excellent and light years ahead of the clueless plonker with an old camera set to “full auto” on a £5 tripod we usually get from most places (most places where stitching up the idiots for seat ticket money isn’t the only thing on the agenda) and it was good to see Guildford at least go down fighting and buying into the big occasion.
We undoubtedly missed Farmer and Hughs but I don’t believe we missed Lee at all and the rest were just the Panthers. At least three ideas and two bob short.
If you lot are going to sit through yet another winter of that crap then I take my hat off to you. Life is too short to be taken for an idiot one more time.

Numb. Absolutely numb. I should be livid at how we’ve played this afternoon but I just don’t care, and if anybody from the club is reading this they should be concerned, because I’m not the only one. That pretty much sums it up. I wake up this morning and still feel the same. That raw emotion and fire that would have had me storming out of the arena in a rage just isn't there.

A few things stood out to me(When you get past the embaressment of the overall result) which pretty much some up Panthers right now.
Firstly, the coaching decisions. So we are "short benched" 😂😂 you have a line of Farmer Stewart Perlini(A line thats been pretty good), you also have a line of Lacho Guptill Ollie. You find out that Farmer is out so who do you move up from the 4th line?? Well he got it right after the first period. Why would you move Lacho up?? So then we lose Hughes and under the pump. Henderson has proved to be capable at the back and unless im mistaken he stayed as a forward(I dont really have a clue what happened after about 30mins tbh though). Instead we played with 5 dmen and tried to play 4 lines with 11 forwards. Just put Henderson back, play 3 solid lines and have Lacho as 10th forward.
The second point and if anybody knows better then please correct me. Our other import goalie was drinking in the pub at least during the 1st period of our game(im not sure if he was before then). So there was still a chance we could make the final and it's entirely possible he could have been needed for that game. That pretty much sums this organisation up.

Most of which were full of panthers fans. I doubt when he scored the goal he had the presence of mind to look around the arena, locate the Devils fans and skate towards them. Absolutely no issue with how he celebrated. A world away from Lehman.

Logan Jnr summed it up to me after the game “That’s the worst I’ve ever seen us play in 11 years including the Berube season”.
This family of cash cows is done.

Not sure what game you all watched but Panthers won exactly what they wanted. Entry into a European tournament... why bother playing when they’d already achieved their objective.

Good luck to the sheep who buy into that. They get the nights out, entertainment and team they deserve. They have flogged a dead horse long enough here.

It's spin, Phil The one area we really are number 1 in. As a Steeler's (ex) fan, I would like to dispute that as they have world class "spinners" who Panthers could only dream about having. Steelers have become Panthers MK 2 in the executive department with almost identical ownership isuues and their forum has morphed into the cage. Not many years ago if Panthers had a result like that, Steeltalk would have had 6 pages of taunts/scoffs etc. I don't think there is even 6 posts. What has it come to for our two clubs? Nobody can be bpthered anymore!

All to do with Smith following Blacks business lead and now there are two clubs who prioritise money and profit over winning. Gone are the days of anybody being worried playing the Steelers.

Despite all of the above the only thing you will hear from the management of this circus is about season tickets and the limited time available to renew. The whole season has been a shambles and what have we heard from the clowns running the asylum? Not a jot. I truly hate them all

In some kind of sick poetic irony, Panthers lead 4-0 at the end of the first period in the 3rd place play off game. Look well set to retain the Hangover Cup.
