Mardiff have some insurance money from Mosey's injury presumably, budget won't be a problem for them. Huge spanner in the works for Lord the Mosey injury - he was his two way speedster - often played him at start and end of periods up front then slotted back on D with his pairing. Will probably struggle to find someone in the same mould and then of course we’ll have a spare when Mosey eventually returns around January/ February if fully recovered. Looking forward to seeing the Parisi/Blood/Schiestel replacement - probably downgrade on Parisi, hopefully Blood quality, upgrade on Schiestel. With Pope/Bentivoglio/Dixon looking likely to return, and with McNamee arriving it looks like Livingston may also return, add the rumour that Riley has joined we have the following; Linglet / Dixon / Riley Bentivoglio / Martin / Pope Livingston / McNamee / Haddad Duggan / Myers / Batch (Myers will definitely want another year at the Worlds) As for the D without Mosey for now and with Batch back up front; Reddick is here longterm especially now he seems to have settled to his D role; Richardson will definitely be back; so we have; Fournier / Richardson Reddick / New D (replacement for Schiestel/Blood) Louis / New D (replacement/cover for Mosey) Add Murdy as back up and we’re done. 👍🏾 Alright for some eh when you’ve got Joey Martin on your second line. 😮Lol

And personally yes, I think 45pts in 60gp in this league is 2nd line numbers

Mmmm so by your logic on Dixon’s points, if Chris Stewart came back to Panthers he’d be 3rd or 4th line would he. 🙄

I don’t moan when people criticise me, I just respond when they talk crap. Some people moan when I criticise something, then two days later they say exactly the same thing themselves. 🤣 Doesn’t matter if Stewart played less games,he should have shone in Panthers poor team and he didn’t. As for Dixon he’s one of a number of quality Devils players so he maybe didn’t see the ice time there that he would eksewhere. If he signed at Panthers he’d be top line no question,it’s only because the Devils are so stacked that he was 2nd line or possibly even played some D if I recall correctly.

Hi interview with Bissonnette on the Spitting Chiclets Episode 188 is interesting. He states that in Junior he was a points player but when moved to AHL he was asked to play a shut down role which he’s continued everywhere he’s gone.

Hey that’s it,perhaps that’s what Panthers asked Stewart to do... play a shut down role. That’s why he got next to naff all points. 🤣🤣🤣

Does anyone think we may be running with a spare import this season? We've got 4 slots left and GD has already stated we're not finished on the defensive front which means there would only be enough space for 11 forwards

Damn, so going from that article if he was on a two year deal surely Giants had to agree to him going there? Or get some compensation for letting him go? Great signing for devils. Not surprised they could pull something like this off though, wish Panthers had the cojones to do something like this

Curious with this summit in Cardiff that Mark Richardson still isn’t announced. Maybe taking a leap but is it possible with us still not finished with defensive signings and 4 forward spaces still to fill that he could be coming our way?

Giants announced when Riley left that he didn't take up the 2nd year option of his contract, similarly if he had have been poor during the season then they had the option to pull out of the 2nd year. A quality player and has made a rival stronger hoping Keefe has a few studs under wraps with pre season 5 weeks away and only 5 imports signed.

Cardiff must be coughing up a decent wedge, can't imagine he was on peanuts in Belfast and I can't see any other reason to leave captaining the best team in the league for the runners up. If he was leaving the EIHL then it'd make more sense.

Reads to me that Belfast didn't have him EIHL protected & Devils made him a better offer.
Devils paid silly money for Mosey, no doubt they are paying silly money for Riley also.
4th best budget.... lol.

Is that a "NO" as in you know if for an absolute provable fact, or is it just another belief which may well turn out to be true but is actually nothing more than an expression of faith?

Until a player is announced , I don't think anyone really knows where they are going.
Saying That, I really hope Ritchie is staying in Cardiff.

Can't see Richardson leaving Cardiff, at least not to come back here. Wasn't it him who wanted to be closer to home when he left the first time?
