People need to give Dundee more credit. Third in three yes but they are literally fighting for a Playoff spot and it is so tight down at the bottom every single point matters. Look at how much it meant to them when they scored the winning goal. We didn't play too well, quite far from the quality we showed against Manchester. Dundee were determined and got shots off at every opportunity whilst we tried to walk It in. Perlini's rocket was joyful and I still don't understand why we had our original first goal disallowed. Pering and the other inept official weren't great but we spent too much of the night getting tied up with Lundvald's antics. Rissling or Lepine should've just ragdolled him and be done with it. We gave the officials every excuse to penalise us and it's just unfortunate and stupid that we put the target on our own backs. We didn't get enough shots off and struggled to pass, Guptill wouldn't have been able to shoot a fish In a barrel, Kovacs and Rheault were invisible again. I don't particularly think any of the forwards had a good game and the defence weren't exactly great either. Clap, clap... clap away.

MK have just scored a sixth and fighting back from 6-4 down with 6.5 mins to go...6-6 near the end of a game now....that's playing to win. They haven't. Finished 6-5 to Manchester. A phantom goal seems to have crept in everywhere (EIHL site, Flashscores).

Awful, awful game but credit to Dundee for doing what they had to do.
Not a lot of positives from a Panthers POV, Perlini’s goal and Garnett’s performance being about it. Garnett aside the team looked disinterested and sluggish, whereas Dundee, despite being visibly shattered, we’re giving it all they had.
When the OT winner went in I just laughed out loud.

Well I would quite happily swap Lundvald for most of our players, I think he is brilliant and just the kind of player we miss. Would swap him for Stewart any day. He gives 140%, draws penalties, not gasping to get off the ice like our forwards, in the netties face on power plays.... whats not to like?

According to Panthers fixture list we’re being presumptious, greedy or both again listing the Saturday night 6th April as our play off quarter final home game. There’s no guarantee yet of Panthers being the higher seed,we could still finish 5th or maybe even 6th.
Some things never change. 🙄

It's all well and good saying, this player is good when they play against us, if we signed them you know exactly what would happen after three months.

I thought Sjogren played well for Dundee; made some good saves.

Panthers were pure dross. Genuine contenders should blow away sides like Dundee on home ice. This team consistently disappoints and under achieves. I would have more respect if the Coaching staff/Management and even players themselves were just honest in post game and pre-game discussions/interviews. If we are rubbish say so. If we are lucky say so. Praise only when earned. Fed up with clichés and bull****. The Nottingham organisation is tops at taking their supporters for granted and so many have now had a belly full of crap displays and hollow promises.

Dundee played a superb road game, never gave Panthers any time on the puck. Pretty grim to watch, but they had to play that way. Panthers need too much time on the puck lately, there are very few quick one touch passes, you know, the type that can open teams up like a can of beans?
Farmer is now on an 8 game scoring streak, the joint longest by a Panther all year.
On a side note, I notice Lachowicz isn't on the EIHL website stats/teamsheet. I'm positive I saw him on the ice, did Panthers ice an ineligible player?

Good question. Three quarters of this team should be classified as ineligible as far as playing in this league is concerned.

You don’t have to be on the team sheet any more. 🙄

Panthers were pure dross. Genuine contenders should blow away sides like Dundee on home ice. We've known since about November that we aren't/weren't genuine contenders. Last couple weeks have been slightly encouraging but as always it's too little too late and we shouldn't be shocked to end up losing to a very hungry team. It's very disappointing but far from surprising.

I noticed that last night we were again trying to be very physical, tone set by the check from virtually the first face off. I don't mind that but it seems like Saturday we were trying to get something going against a normally very physical team, who were more interested in trying to win the game cos they needed the points. We even tried to agitate on the build up to the game on the website ! But last night what was the point, Dundee aren't a physical team so why try to wind them up with unnecessary checks and borderline rough play. Anyway, again it was a poor performance, and we will need to keep the playoff games tight cos if we go 2-3 goals behind quickly this isn't a team to chase a game and score in bunches.

If so, based on the above, I'm surprised that the league hasn't instigated a better check of teamsheets pre-game. Oh, hang on, no I'm not...

Why is Rissling getting wound up by Lundvald? Who will the refs call?

Can somebody explain to me why the refs washed Farmer’s goal out last night and why they didn’t use the technology to confirm their decision?

Can somebody explain to me why the refs washed Farmer’s goal out last night and why they didn’t use the technology to confirm their decision? Often wonder, many a time, about why things are not seen through. Like footballs VAR system. We have seen Swansea and Brighton penalised by the human system. But if a man was in the crease it is understood. What I'm getting at is if 'soccer' can't get it right, what chance Ice Hockey.

Fair enough call. I thought you could have a player in the crease if wasn't interfering. It looked that the keeper bobbled it and the puck was fair game.
