That’s a win for you then Harlan because yesterday we couldn’t beat a team who were 6 short had just travelled back from your place. We looked more tired than them in the 3rd.

What you mean you’re not excited mate. It’s a HUGE game,a four pointer even to decide whether we get Flyers or Flames in the play offs ! 😆 #massive

I’ve worked out what the problem is with the team. The club are so busy telling the fans about all these massive, must win games they’ve forgotten to let the players know.

Cazzola needs his midget face well and truly smashing.
Do Fife not usually play on slippery ice? They do seem to have terrible trouble staying on their feet bless em

As things stand it's 20 points to Cardiff and 28 points to MK. both have 3 games in hand. We're actually going to end up closer to MK aren't we?

An OT winner, I'm almost impressed.

An OT winner, I'm almost impressed. Third period and OT were half decent to be fair. Deserved the win. Not sure on the MOM award though? Rheault wouldn’t have been my first choice.

After that great OT winner...Rissling celebrating in Owens face was my highlight of the evening.
Thought we deserved the win and actually dominated in the end...two things I haven't been able to say much recently!
Any noise for the Panthers shouted Ken....pretty much a muted silence, everyone seems fed up now

Gotta keep the Euro crowd table figures up somehow Jord. Wouldn’t want Europe thinking we’re just some mid table 4th/5th place also rans would we ! 😆 It's an illusion of a club isn't it. Pure propaganda machine. Told ya last week 5555 was a very popular number Jord.....guess how many were supposedly there tonight. 🤣

Credit where it’s due, so a thumbs up for a win despite going down very early on. Jono has tweeted 9 wins in the last 30 games; how unbelievably pathetic is that stat.

Munson's double save near the end of the 3rd Period was just class.
Felt that we were better offensively but defensively, I was concerned. Not getting cover for Olsen is a mistake.
Loved the fact that Panthers players were getting called for holding yet Fife players weren't getting called for it. Whist I fear for us in The Play-Off Quarter Finals anyway, if we get Fife, I can only imagine what's going to get called

Whist I fear for us in The Play-Off Quarter Finals anyway, if we get Fife, I can only imagine what's going to get called Better offensively? - hardly. The main problem for me this season has been the fact that we simply cannot finish. Plenty of good setup play, and then a total failure to convert. Some of this is down to bad luck, I'm sure - such as Pither's beautifu strike that just rang off the pipework - but an awful lot of it isn't. The problem is - we don't know why. Plenty of theories, plenty of fanatical adherence to this idea or that, but with zero actual supporting evidence... come on, is there any else out there with the guts to simply admit "I don't know"? How can a team with this much alleged/apparent/potential talent (delete according to taste) manage to mess it all up so comprehensively? Beats me... Tonight's game was extremely disappointing... a near-total lack of teamwork, some terrible individual performances (Guptill was particularly slack tonight, I thought) and a lot of stretches of what I can only describe as near-total boredom. A few episodes of near-brilliance, but they were certainly in the minority. We got the 2 points, but hardly in what you would call an impressive fashion. Although giving Fife a point has helped them in their chase to overtake Sheffield, so that's almost a win/win!

Regarding our finishing, last night and previously our forwards take an awfully long time to control the puck and shoot, allowing the opposing goalie time to set his position and the defence block the shot. Nobody, apart from on the pp, tries a 'onetimer'. That tells me that we lack an instinctive goalscorer, even Guptill likes to control, aim and shoot. He just does it better than the rest !

I think your right with this, but also the delivery of the puck is often poor. Badly weighted passes. Or passes just in front or behind where the shooter needs them. A good passing player makes things very easy for goal scorers. Ling - Graham Galbraith - Cook/Mcasalan Tessier - Anyone around him
