With The World Championships being under 100 days away, I was thinking that considering that in International competition, we are in uncharted territory. Therefore if Team GB does better than expected, could teams around The Elite League be in danger of losing their key Brits?
Let's face it scouts will be watching the games and if some of our players play brilliantly and/or show potential against of the world's best players, surely offers will be coming.
After GB qualified from the last group, some people were shocked that only O'Connor was taken (For a short while) but some were expecting Bowns and Perlini to move on as well.
It could be a interesting off season.
What do our friends from Cardiff, Sheffield and Belfast think as some of their key Brits could move on think as well as the other clubs as their Brits could be signed by teams replacing their moving players?

Realistically I could only see Bowns, Dowd and O'Connor being the standouts. O'Connor and Dowd won't go anywhere but I feel like Bowns might, if the deal is right.
Perlini I don't see going anywhere, he hasn't had a great season and unless he really excels at the championships he'll be back here for the 2nd year of his multi-year deal.
I think it'll be very difficult for any scouts in attendance to create accurate reports for any of GB's players during the Championships. GB are more than likely going to suffer heavy defeats in the majority of games, when against Canada I feel it will be like a tiger fighting a sloth. It ain't going to be pretty and there's only going to be one winner.
The biggest opportunity to show their quality will go to Bowns and Whistle.

The scouts might be interested until they find out what they’d have to pay to lure them away from lucrative British passport hockey.

I think it was a shame what happened with O'Connor. Got signed by Barys of the KHL then they got new owners and the owner didn't want him so he ended up in Sweden, he didn't seem to last long there either and now he's back at Steelers

Fear some embarrassing scorelines coming up from GB's point of view. Sure we did well to achieve promotion but, do me a favour, we will be annihilated against the Big Boys. Cannot quite imagine Stevie Lee having MacDavid, Kane or Ovechkin losing any sleep ahead of potential match-ups. Woe is me. I see huge "grapes count" in all GB matches.

I think we should go in and try our best. I hope we can stay up.
