It's just been announced this game will air on YouTube for free. Well done panthers Going to be controversial here, but it seems to me that it's unfare that season ticket and ticket holders are getting fleeced here when other people just waited and going to get the game for free now. I understand that games are on TV on Freesports but they are announced ahead of time so you can make your choice whether to be there live. I know I'm moaning about it for no reason but there's something about this I don't like

Match night ticket holders maybe so but they’ve again made the choice to go to see the game live. Panthers do a lot of things wrong but this is a great move, especially after the positive response to the Cardiff one.

Plus, the first livestream that they did with Lucas was a test and subsequently it was free because of this. Could you imagine the outcry if they now decided they were going to charge? Imo the club have made another step forward off the ice and it’s good to see.

Not sure that all of Dundee, Coventry and Guildford will hold them off

Devils x 2 Giants x 2 Panthers x 1 Fife x 2 Clan x 1 Coventry x 2 Storm x 1 MK x 2 Six at home and seven away. That’s not an easy run in.

Hopefully this is a permanent step into the future and can be followed by a few more (ticket exchange, club membership/access cards).

The Grapes Count = Panthers 2 : Steelers 3 after overtime. They suck but seem to have "beating Panthers" in their DNA. Oh how I hope that I am wrong. Even with a team of no-marks they will play their aggressive forecheck chipping the puck behind our defence. I have seen World War One dreadnoughts turn quicker than Lepine, Billingsley and Henderson so expect Sheffield to win most races for the puck. Also expect them to win most battles along the boards in our defensive zone if last weekend is any guide. No doubt Guptill will cause them concerns but can see very little else in our arsenal to worry them. All hail Barrasso - the Steelers Saviour.

Nah Panthers to win this one,it’s being broadcast all around the world so be keen to impress. Only the biggest rivalry in the EIHL now though, strangely Europe seems to have disappeared ! Well done Calum. 👍😆

Has there ever been a more underwhelming Panthers v Steelers league game ? both teams struggling for form (Steelers arguably less so at the moment), both teams missing players, both teams having poor seasons and struggling to convince the fan base. Probably be a classic !!

Big game today would be great to see steelers not make the play offs so a win is crucial today.
Id like to see Munson get a start for us, tho for me garnett has been one of our better players this year (huge improvement on last year) its time for munson to get tested in these big games.
If Stewwie is still unavailable to play id like to see us roll 5 D and push henderson back up top so we can roll 4 lines, it really did not work on Thursday rolling 11 forwards.
Lets Go Panthers

Website "THE NOTTINGHAM Panthers could be missing Chris Stewart (illness), as well as Dylan Olsen (lower body) and Jaynen Rissling (suspension) for Saturday’s game against the Steelers.
News out of the PhysioDirect Treatment Room is that Stewart was admitted to hospital on Thursday, requiring IV antibiotics for a sudden onset illness.
He’s now recovering, but it’s unlikely he’ll have recuperated in time for Saturday night."
It doesn't seem as some have said that he is leaving/left at the moment
Also on twitter in response to a tweet that Panthers players dont "F----- care' for Jon Rheault "This is our life,we don’t leave it “at work”. We carry this with us 24/7.Not only do we CARE and work hard to get better every day but we also have to do that under scrutiny of people like you.We care, want to win and want to make our fans happyLosing is the worst feeling there is"
My point is that the negativity has gone over the top - at least on this site there are administrators to deal with the worst posts. If players did up and leave with the sort of abuse on twitter could you blame them?

If 'professional' sportsman are being affected by posts on a pretty insignificant internet forum then they really are in the wrong business.

Yes it is a fact of life and to a large extent I agree. You take the good with the bad. However it does emphasis the negative and in some cases in professional sport it can be a real problem for some. Constant criticism of one young cricketer when things were going wrong had a very bad effect.
