If season ticket sales go up yet again on the back of this season's performances then I can only assume a large amount of the current fanbase need a labotomy Still the Friday & Saturday night out crowd will still come... Win win for Neil Black... If the Panthers say good morning I would check my watch

Giants are through. Once Lacho brings the promised DAMAGE in the third, then it'll be a good final between us and them. The only damage Lacho is worried about is getting his hair ruffled.. got forbid any morephysical contact than that...

Need a goal a minute to tie it, and Hurtubise has just put us on the penalty kill.
Cometh the hour, cometh the Lachowicz!

Strachan has really shipped this team into shape... Not... Still I'm sure he will be back in some capacity next season....

Clear the whole lot of them out. The whole lousy crew stink of failure.

Needed 4 goals in the 3rd Period, only 4 shots
Guildford were far too comfortable

Congratulations to Guildford and good luck in the final. Won the tie by a mile, not even close.
In a season of pathetic efforts, this, in a tie that the 50% owner proclaimed was hugely important, is a new low. A complete embarrassment of a team.

The score was an honest reflection. Guildford were the better side by quite a way.

A laughing stock. That's all Panthers are. Misinformation, dressed up interviews, wandering cluelessly towards the end of an pitiful season. Absolutely zero leadership, on & off the ice.
A joke of a sports organisation.

Yup Guildford fully deserved that win...we were outplayed
Hardly any clear cut chances, every time we got in their zone they just stuck to us like glue...the same couldn't be said for the opposite end of the ice!

Guildford were fast, clever and looked dangerous every time they were in our zone.

What’s the current ruling with regards to blood on the ice? Thought it had to be cleared before play could resume? Wasn’t like it wasn’t noticeable...

No one goes to the net in this team, it’s always behind, to the point, behind, to the point, bad lane, bad shot, clearance and then a rinse and repeat. Contrast with Guildford, tight odd man rushes with cover for the puck carrier, a player crashing in front for th second after a move behind. We’re lacking any nous around the net. First period we were playing with a nice tempo but we didn’t turn up for the other two. Crap display and quite rightly not in the final.

Guilford were far superior over the two legs. They have shown skill, speed and desire to deservedly reach the Challenge Cup Final. Good luck to them. We simply look like we wish the season was over. No real game plan, no leadership either on the ice or behind the bench, no clue as to what to do to be in contention on any given night. Ask this simple question. Irrespective of our final top eight position, who would you honestly fancy us to beat over two legs ? Cardiff, Belfast, Glasgow, Guildford, Fife, Dundee, Manchester, Coventry or even our Whippet Racing Cousins from South Yorkshire ? No, unfortunately Milton Keynes don't look like they will make the cut. Perhaps Coach Strachan would like to pick his ideal opponent.

By the way, if there were 3,999 spectators at the game then I am the next British negotiator for Brexit. Then again listening to the Panthers post match summaries are quite like the Brexit fiasco. Lots of hot air and twaddle but no substance or credibility. Perhaps Boris Johnson fancies himself as an ice hockey coach ?

The problem is the other teams only really have to worry about guptill. Then stick 2 players on him straight away and shut him down. Need 2 or 3 more like him.
