Off to hospital apparently. Left on crutches with what appeared to be a leg brace on too. I bet he was still more mobile than Stewart.

Zzzzzzzz
Has it finished? Can I wake up now?
Great finish from Guptil...hope Olsen isn't badly injured....and that's about all I have to say on the game.

An absolutely dreadful game, we won because of Guptill's finishing and MK seriously lacking talent in that department. For large parts of that game they still managed to look better than us, you'd struggle to say who was propping up the league. Hope Olsen's OK, looked bad and you'd imagine he's not the sort to ham it up. Tonight was also a nadir for the clientele in block 5. I really have no idea what our steward is being paid for. I’m thinking of chipping in for an escalator for block 5. It was the worst I have ever seen. Is that to get Yotes up the stairs to his seat. 😆

I was up and down more than the Grand Old Duke of York trying to see the bloody game. I wouldn't want to get in the way of the selfie set getting more and more pints of Panthers Beer though, that is the idea of a night at the hockey after all. That’s the spirit; keep chugging that beer!!

Well, the same scoreline as last Saturday and that is quite emphatically where any similarities end.
That was seriously dull. The stripeys set the tone early on by calling pens on the slightest bit of physical play. After that it was a perfect display of what’s to come in future seasons. Zero contact over sanitised hockey.
Lovely finish from Guptill, he really is a cut above our other forwards. Another 1+1 tonight. Hope we can keep him next season. Olsen looked in a world of pain as he was helped off. Can’t wait to see the latest six game ban handed out to whoever was the nearest MK player to him.
Nice crowd again. Kerching.

I wonder if that figure is including all season ticket holders there or not d all the freebies? There were never that many , there were rows of empty seats in all the bronze blocks from 8 rounds to 12. Have to say we had a stag party in block 15 rows R,S. up and down all night, it was like sitting in a puddle the amount of beer we were sitting in and it ran down several rows, they were soo drunk two of them almost fell down the stairs. Felt sorry for the season ticket holders there is no way you can follow a hockey match with that type of clientele around you , they just not interested .

That figure was taken off the Elite league score sheet I know mate i had seen it myself and the game sheet was probably correct. Then Panthers go and say in the post match report it was only a “near 6000 crowd” Perhaps it was such a predictable game that they wrote the match report before the game and then there was a bigger walk up than expected. 🤣🤣🤣 Lol

Whilst it was a classic by any means (and thankfully I prepared myself for that before the game), it’s kind of what we needed in terms of defensive work. Our team has been leaking goals but obviously it isn’t good enough going forward.
We have a lot of home games left and as long as we keep winning them, we should have home advantage in the playoffs.

For anyone who thinks this is not a rest home for players getting on or a Butlins for the younger ones, Stewart really must change your minds.

Game of two halves. First 30 mins we were sluggish, uninterested. Then after MK scored we (team and crowd) woke up and created some chances, admirably led by Ollie. Guptill looks like scoring every time he gets the chance. Final period we should have added more, the 2minute pp we spent in their end was great to watch. Stewart continues to look like a fish out of water.

He WOULD be the leagues best if he put the effort in.. Now you have your answer. And yes I saw alot of his games in the nhl where he stood out as a constant threat

We’ll see more from Stewart today, he can’t get away with coasting like he did yesterday, if he performs like he did in the Cardiff game he’ll be more effective.
