Would be interested to know the level of interest in the Play Offs this year, considering the teams form. For those who went today, was there a massive queue like there normally is? Over half the allocation has gone. Allocations as I see it are Nottingham 1616 seats Sheffield - 835 seats Cardiff - 723

I know it's only 2 days in, but, you would have thought that if a season ticket holder was going to get them, they'd have done it by now. Is apathy finally catching up with the fan base?

Has that changed recently?

It's a combination of things I would imagine, what you've said and I guess that it was considering it was announced on Thursday that they were going on sale, that is short notice add to the fact that people may be waiting to get paid, some fans were in Scotland and some may wait to see if our form improves. Probably best to see what it's like just before they go on to non season ticket fans

Wonder how many tickets will go up for sale IF the supposedly "Big 2" fail to make Finals Weekend
I remember when Nottingham failed to make it people were putting their tickets up on Ebay

Since you released Gratton you’ve won 10 out of 14, which is a good record, but he was scoring a lot of goals and as an opposition fan he looked a good player. Do you think he was having a bad influence on the team or is your form just a coincidence after his departure?

It's hard to say for me.
As you've pointed out we've done quite well since he left but I wouldn't personally say he could have been an issue, he was doing quite well but I don't know maybe something happened behind the scenes. Clan nearly always seem to have locker room issues, Bruton & Buesa being 2 most recent examples.

I remember when Sheffield failed to qualify, being knocked out by Hull I think, then there were loads on eBay as they were raging at being knocked out by a team who struggled to make the playoffs. But in recent times most people who have bought tend to hold onto their tickets to be fair.

Sheffield losing to Hull reminds me of that night in Coventry, the period ended early due to the bench clearence and Simmsey is telling us about the Sheffield score, they were playing Hull that night, his tears were glorious

Regarding the 2019 Play-Off Finals Weekend in Nottingham. Do any local businesses ( hotels, bars, restaurants, etc ) have any special events or deals planned for the weekend ? If so, maybe they would like to post on The Cage.

Also, what hockey related goods/souvenirs would fans like to have available to purchase via the (limited) stalls, trade stands or Arena Shops ? I would like to take this opportunity to plead for prices to be kept at sensible prices rather some of the usual highly inflated margins that simply rip-off hockey lovers.

Didn't Sheffield's allocated blocks go on sale today? Be really interested to know how many they've sold, cos if we were in their position then I wouldn't bloody bother

Very poor from Sheffield on the first day of sales, worse than any other year. That's almost 3/4 of the Devils allocation gone then.

Do you mean how did I find out or how do you find out in general? I know someone who works at the arena. But I would guess you’ll see what’s left when they go on general sale on Monday, although I’m not sure if you can book online and choose your seat.

How have our blocks been selling?

Steelers Supporters club was selling them last week and sold the allocation they had then a week later Monday they went on general sale I believe supporters club had 70% of the tickets available
