Get real. Black pays the wages and sets the budgets but he won't and shouldn't decide which players are signed or released. That responsibility lies with the head coach. He's the hockey man who puts the team together and he also can't just get rid of them all as you say either otherwise we wouldn't be able to put a team on the ice The buck stops with Black. As a professional sports team owner he is a clueless loser and of course he can do anything he wanted and make any changes that he wants to change that. All he has to go is click his fingers and get out the cheque book. It happens in every sport everywhere so it should be easy in a two bit beer league. Disagree completely. We have 2 spare imports and a pedigree NHL player so he has opened the chequebook. If this squad of players still can't perform as a team then the buck stops with the coach for me and its then up to Black/GM to find a new coach

I don’t see how this talented roster can play like this so often; I honestly don’t think they’re playing for him. I've now officially come to this conclusion. I sat watching the Panthers players body language it was awful. If i was Neil Black I’d bullet Cherno now and install one of the older guys as player coach for the rest of the season. It seems pretty obvious this team doesn’t want to play for Cherno.

Even from a business point of view his product is crap and the clueless coach has repeatedly brought in the wrong players and is tactically inept so in any other real world business he would have been put on notice weeks ago. He isn’t getting the job done and he looks way in over his head. If Black is happy losing customers and giving away more and more free tickets that’s down to him and his judgment. Just pleased I never ran my business that way.

Cherno on the website "Until guys realise and understand that you can only play a certain way to be able to win hockey games in this league we'll continue to struggle." Well if that is the case get working on the ice and sort it out.

Dig out the rot send it home play short until the right replacements are found. This is no holiday camp.

Another absolute disgrace tonight, I don’t know where to begin with discussing that, I’m just utterly pee’d off.
Forget how the team performed, the reasons and excuses why etc. Honestly, I’ve never known an Ice Hockey team, especially in Nottingham, that just rolls over and gives a little whimper when they get beat in their own barn.
Even if they’ve decided they’re not playing for Rich why can’t a single player go out and show that they give a damn, or that they’re annoyed we’ve lost or frustrated after the abysmal month we’ve had.
I’m starting to get fed up of making the hour journey to Nottingham for every home game, I’m fed up of watching a team that plays crap hockey, where the majority shows no passion, emotion or fight. I’m fed up of having people sat around me that are oblivious to what’s going off, who see the arena as a place to come with their mates or partners to have a drink and to talk rubbish.
Quite frankly Ice Hockey in Nottingham has become boring and something really drastic needs to happen to change the culture and state of this club.

The Bolduc thing, the fans screaming abuse at him have been screaming abuse after games for the last couple weeks at least. I'd imagine they shouted something at Bolduc before he retaliated and I don't care how professional he is supposed to be, if someone was abusing me like that I'd give it back too. You cannot give abuse if you are not prepared to be on the receiving end too.
I don't think Bolduc is that bad, he's no worse than a lot of our players. There's voicing disappointment at players and then there's that level of abuse, I wouldn't accept it and I'm glad Bolduc didn't.

Even a third rate loser in a rubbish team in a beer league should have more brains than that.

He's a pro sportsman.. if a footballer does this to fans or sticks the finger up then get fined or worse.

Damning with faint praise there Mr B I think when you're on his side of the "paid to be there" / "pay to be there" divide, and you've just been done 0-3 at home against a junk side like Storm, then you need to hold your tongue.

In every other so called professional sport in the world there are things you can’t do. The insignificant world of washed up wannabes in British ice hockey might think it’s different but it isn’t.

That is pretty much my feeling to even down to the fact I drive 40 miles to watch that crap whay we saw tonight. I walked out with 5 mins left. The people round me1 in block 8 hadn't got a clue what they were watching and certainly don't show the same passion for the game as I.

The atmosphere tonight was flat, the team was flat, the performance was flat. This was a team the seemed to be going through the motions, RC doe st seem to have an idea or reason to motivate the team or they don’t seem to have reason or willingness to be motivated by him.
Some very performances tonight, our nhl ‘superstar ‘ who was going to tear up the league, what does he bring, he had a good first shift on his first home game and after that.... meh. Tonight I think only Paws had more giveaways. The same few put the effort in and the only other one who had, possibly, one of his best games was Lacho; perhaps that was so he might play tomorrow night instead of being ‘ill’ again.
I was excited at the prospect of a new coach who signed big no nonsense teams this year but something is wrong, very wrong and whether that is down to RC’s tactics, game plans or the man himself. Perhaps his style of play isn’t suited to the game the officials are letting occur and he can’t or won’t adapt. But tbh I hope that he isn’t here next season, but then again I’m not sure whether I will.

I've never known black to sack anyone . Coaches have either walked up simply not had their contracts renewed Me neither, but thats probably down to not wanting to pay of the rest of the contracts. He will stick out till the end of the season.

like a few i reckon , i left at 2-0 and frankly i wasnt even bothered anymore, both net minders did well but Ginn had a decent D as well thats the difference Josh is a good prospect, Lee is playing on memories Olsen is trying to do everything to make up for the rest Lepine is not even a shadow of the guy that left he is practically a shell of him.
I think I know what Guppy gives us judging by the rest of this shower who couldnt score in a brothel tonight.
In the end another night to forget in which only the coffee and music was decent.

Didn’t go. Sounds like I missed a classic. Time for the general manager or owner to voice an opinion on this shambles.
