4 wins in last 13 league games. 13 points from a possible 26. No games against Belfast or Cardiff in that time either.

That’s a new way to lose that we’ve found there.
One point from the weekend. Not good enough. Nowhere near.

I’m really starting to question some of the decisions that Chernomaz makes in OT. Guptill is a brilliant goal scorer, but he is not fit enough to play in overtime, ultimately he was the root cause of giving that penalty shot away. 5 on 5 Guptill gets away with it and can be sloppy defensively, in OT he can’t. Am I seeing the game completely differently to everyone else?!! Don’t worry, it happens with better coaches than Chernomaz; Babcock quite often likes to put Zaitsev out in OT despite him playing in a defensive role this season and having only three assists 🤣🤣🤣

To think that CN got so much stick over not having a plan B. Does anyone know what RC’s plan A is?
I still think we have enough quality in the team individually and collectively, but for whatever reason, we’re just not getting the best out of them. Wrong tactics? Wrong lines? Wrong coach? Players underperforming? All of the above?
New Era? Ok then.

Serious question, doesn’t Chernomaz deserve another season now he has seen first hand, what the league is about?

Panthers Twitter seems to have given up. Are we in OT yet? Was the goal rightly ruled out? Referee signalled it went in off a hand. No review and no protest from Panthers. I’m just surprised we didn’t get called for roughing the puck ! 🙄

If Chernoclue was to become Chernojob at some point soon, I wouldn't shed any tears. This weekend has caused a big swing in my thoughts on Chernoclue. The results are really not good enough, but a few other things have swung it for me now. The changing of lines is becoming Neilsoneaque, even within the same games(he's barely settled them game to game at any point but now its within almost every game too). The Billingsley situation. Although we don't know the story, from the outside he should be playing. He makes our D better regardless of how you rate Tetlow. If he is admitting the players arn't sticking to his plans then he is saying the don't listen to him, follow his lead or believe in his plan. So he has lost them. I do believe he has been shafted by the usual BS from the management. Not being allowed his own backroom team whilst being made to work with somebody who is there for reasons unrelated to his ability or qualifications to do the job. I would like to give any new coach time to learn and a second season, but he does look lost and like he has no clue. Based on what we see, simply not good enough.

Serious question, doesn’t Chernomaz deserve another season now he has seen first hand, what the league is about? NO, NO, NO.. Even when we win the hockey is abysmal! I opted for the Belfast webcast today, what a great game, far more enjoyable than the drivel we are being served up this season. He can go and I hope to god he takes Lepine with him.. Surely we can’t be stuck with either for another season.

Yet you gave Neilson chance after chance over 10 years, the hockey was abysmal he never learnt his lessons.
RC deserves another season at least to make adjustments but I'm not convinced he will be back due to officiating and other influences.
To ice Tetlow and scratch Billingsley is baffling to say the least.

Personally if the coach goes then so should they. They either bring nothing at all or what they do bring isn’t working.

My trigger finger itches more than Two-Point Tony's It seems to me we've replaced Neilson with an older version. Other than a smashed stick, very little appears to have changed.

Serious question, doesn’t Chernomaz deserve another season now he has seen first hand, what the league is about? Not in a million years. He’s either a very slow learner (we have played every team several times already) or like I believe he has no clue at all.

A very tight small rink with lots of forechecking and scrappy. They scrapped well. We of course had the usual too many men - Kovacs sent out. The place is limited, but it was filthy - litter left from awhile ago, spillages creating slippery surfaces. They could at least clean the place up. We came one strong 3rd period and looked to have pinched it - then a scrappy goal for them. We should have been able to make it tell in overtime, but on the break a penalty shot and that was it. Not an easy place to play, but feel we should have won.
