Think most expected him to be out for a decent spell anyway. Be good if he can get back for the playoffs.

I see Panthers and the hospital medical team have covered themselves in glory again with Olsen. Last week “no fracture” and then today oh yes “there is a fracture” and he’s out 6-8 weeks ! 🙄🤨 Can't really blame Panthers or the club physios. Down to the hospital to analyse the test results. As it says on the website, it sounds like there was serious swelling which hampered the test results. Bad news anyway, and I don't see any cover being bought in at this point. Got less than a week or so until the transfer deadline. No not really Panthers fault but then they shouldn’t say and i quote last weeks article.... “examinations and xrays revealed no broken bones”. I’ve always said i have little faith in the medical staff around Panthers, not exactly their first faux pas is it ! 🙄

Unlucky for Olsen. Our best d man by some way. No point bringing in cover now anyway.. my last game of the season tomorrow anyway 🙆♂️

......Our best d man by some way. ....... I wouldn't say that at all. Top points scoring, yes, but 8 of those points are on an increasingly toothless PP. (2 for 31 in the league in 2019...) Hughes outscores him at even strength and is +23 to Olsen's +4 (my stats, not the EIHL's). Hughes is my D-man of the year so far. Maybe even player of the year. Still, it'd be a shame if we all agreed.

He only scores bombs and his ability to single handedly break up odd man rushes has saved no end of goals this season, but of course, there isn’t a stat for that.

That’s not really very good.

Assuming there's no cover and Henderson goes on D, if it's possible, does anyone think that The Panthers should recall Hazeldine from his loan in Dundee. That way, at least some players won't have to play extra minutes risking further injuries?

That way, at least some players won't have to play extra minutes risking further injuries? It's Kelsall at Dundee. I doubt he'd get enough ice time to make it worthwhile tbh. Hazeldine should probably be drafted in though, he's on a two-way deal with Telford but I think we get preference.
