Is the crowd quiet because the fleeced longevity has woken up and stayed in for a bit of TV and money saved? I wonder if Lepine has had his eye on the Cages stats thread and seen his penalty count in all time Pims per game waver, so on this day he decided to dip into the account and add 27 minutes worth. Surprisingly the way stats go he has dropped all-time places as regards Pims per game BUT risen FOUR places this ONE night over Adey, Bremner and Myers into 7th place All-Time total Pims with 692What a load of rubbish

do you really think a better atmosphere would have improved our performance tonight? And how can you expect the fans to keep chanting after watching 10 minutes of that? I agree it would help 100%. We’re supposed to have a team which plays with intensity and brings pressure on the forecheck, don’t you think a rink with noisy, intimidating fans would lift our players heads and make them give that effort which we aren’t seeing now? the players are payed to play. No matter if there are fans at all.

The first being a subjective question.

Absolutely useless and does the coach know what he’s doing at all? Lapine put the nail in the coffin. What a 24 carrot idiot. Perhaps he’s a bit behind with his Uni work and needs a couple of weekends off. And he might just get them. 🤔 #cynical He got embarrassed by being put on his backside by a perfectly good hit then goes mental and throws any chance of a win away. How the hell is Lepine captain over Olsen? He isn’t fit to lace Olsen’s skates.

That’s why fans are there, too spur there team on and deflate the opposition. This fanbase has so much potential, there’s a lot of passionate people in the stands but I just feel the club do nothing to bring them together to have a positive impact.

Only hear the people at the top of block 4/5 ever. That said the players should be playing their hardest all the time. It hard to cheer something that boring and poor tbh.

Cost us the win and gets himself suspended for 3 games maybe. And for what? I might have understood if it was a bad tempered, emotionally charged game against the Steelers for example but during 3v3 OT against Dundee just because he got put on his arse by a guy half his size. The exact opposite of leading by example.

I agree about Panthers crowd in general, they’re pretty useless really. But of the 4999 that were supposedly there,I would doubt if there were more than 20 Dundee fans, but the Stars didn’t need any emotion or crowd noise to win.

The fact that me, you and most commenting on here won’t give up and will be there on Sunday because we want them to turn it round. The amount of people who come on here and get upset at what they’ve witnessed shows how many passionate fans we have. The club will realise the impact we can have eventually.

Iggy the smaller teams come into our big, shiny building as the underdogs and they play a smart game without any fear. Why is it that we don’t go into Milton Keynes, Fife, Glasgow etc and wipe the floor with them? Because on paper our teams are better than them.

I know that the home atmosphere isn’t the sole issue of this but it’s part of a bigger problem which contributes to it, that’s all I’m thinking.

the players are payed to play. Agree. I'm happy to get involved in a few chants, I think most people are, but the guys who are being paid to be there (not just the players) are the ones best placed to instigate that. Doesn't help that the crowd must be 50% Friday night drunks (and rising). He got embarrassed by being put on his backside by a perfectly good hit then goes mental and throws any chance of a win away. Yup, was so obvious as soon as he got knocked over. Agree with Rob's summation really, the way we play offensively is very similar to late era Neilson, seems to rely entirely on individual effort.

Not one of the long term season ticket holders that were sat around us are there now. Ice hockey is a very easy habit to get over given half a chance.
