The loss tonight is irrelevant. I imagine that the atmosphere was dead in there tonight and I can bet that will have rubbed off on the players, which it’s bound to. Let’s not overreact. Over the last 9 league games we’ve took 15/18 points, that’s decent. We’ve got two home league games this weekend, the players will be up for these, as they should, but they will be a test. We need to get behind them and support them this weekend, push them towards two positive results and build some momentum for the coming weeks. Didn't you know that's what Panthers fans are best at.. over reacting

Much bigger crowd than I was expecting actually and the atmosphere was fine when we scored the first goal short handed.

There was very little fight from the team tonight, which I can understand but it's still frustrating. Storm played well, we didn't appear to care.
Betteridge was superb once again, currently playing better than most imports, never mind other British forwards. Tetlow looked decent again too. Munson didn't have a great game but nice to see him get some ice time and hopefully he'll be in nets again over the weekend. He's a very capable goaltender, just wasn't entirely his night and the amount of support he had was minimal.

There was no need for the team to bust a guy at all. We just had to keep it simple. We did that. Yes they won that game but quite frankly, it didn’t matter at all.

Well, that was... less than inspiring. Will somebody PLEASE tell Mr Munson not to emulate Mike Garnet's wanderings? Looks like we're going to have to club together and buy not one but two bungee cords... It has to be recognised, however, that the Panthers are playing 5 games in 9 days, and this game tonight was their third in 4 days. Not an excuse for any failings, but IMO that - and the fact that we had a 5-goal lead from the first leg - is a good enough reason not to go all-out in tonight's game. Friday and Sunday will have to be a step up, however... neither Dundee nor Guildford can be taken lightly. One bit of good news, though... no Too Many Men penalties!

Guptill benched in the 3rd again too Thought he was trying to do too much on his own, and when it didn’t come off, simply sauntered back with no real effort. A complete contrast to Pither.

Panthers were awful. Defence continues to look paper-thin. Lepine is simply not the same player that he was during his first spell in Nottingham. If the captaincy is an issue then give it someone else. Pitcher is trying to do too much resulting in far too many turnovers. Perlini has not performed this season. Would assume he is one of the highest earners and needs to start justifying his salary. Finally, the attendance as shown on the official game sheet ? You have to be joking ! Santa needs to bring Uncle Gary an abacus so that the true figures can be released.

I never get why a coach does that - Lacho isnt a centre and Perlini isnt a left winger. Why not let them play in the position they have been playing in for years?

Crikey has Neilson sneaked back in under the radar ! 🤔
