1-1; Munson came way out of his net; he’s looked good so far however.

2-1 Manchester; Panthers showing far too much respect to their opponents.
End of the 1st; down 2-1

Munson let in a howler but he hasn’t played bad so far.

Munson let in a howler but he hasn’t played bad so far. Simply came out too far & over played it, finding himself stranded; silly play on his part.

4-2 final score; if Panthers had taken their chances, they’d have won the second leg. Manchester worthy second leg winners.

A brief renaissance and the mediocrity returns. Three losses on the bounce. Depressingly familiar, especially at this time of year.

It was a dead rubber, we'd already won.

To answer an earlier question (of mine), Lacho is out with an upper body injury, per the match report.

Played in 1st gear most of the night. Useful rest for Garnett ahead of a big weekend and the team just seemed to be playing within themselves for 60 minutes. If that pays off at the weekend, then ok. Hammond is a very very good player. Munson looked solid apart from seemingly caught out for the first goal? Some great flashy glove saves in the second.

Seems the free flowing scoring was brief, back to reality it appears, three losses on the bounce. Even though there was no damage done tonight I was looking for a response after that horror show on Sunday!
The only saving grace is we play teams below us in the league for the next few games and I’d expect to win comfortably, until we come up against the Steelers... that’ll be a test.

Anybody know what on earth Simms was doing there. Was behind the glass at the stage end. Looked like he was being filmed for something?

We’ve been playing the poorer teams for about three weeks now. That’s why we’ve been winning regularly.

Havn't bothered as yet myself. Is so is it any good?

The loss tonight is irrelevant. I imagine that the atmosphere was dead in there tonight and I can bet that will have rubbed off on the players, which it’s bound to. Let’s not overreact.
Over the last 9 league games we’ve took 15/18 points, that’s decent. We’ve got two home league games this weekend, the players will be up for these, as they should, but they will be a test. We need to get behind them and support them this weekend, push them towards two positive results and build some momentum for the coming weeks.
