Fantastic performance again so far. Clinical and keeping shots to the outside. I don’t think we’ve even got out of second gear.
Guptill has really stepped it up now. Oozes the class we’ve needed.

We'd best slow down, Uncle Gary won't be able to sell/give away the seats next Tuesday! 😆 There ain’t many booked in already. Cherno obv’s doesn’t understand this keeping it close for a home 2nd leg lark. 🤣 Lol Perhaps because he doesn't buy into any cunning plans #propercoach

Okay so you guys win 6-1 tonight, Honest question, how many of you will go to the 2nd leg. Absolutely I will. I pay my money to see a hockey game... being 5 goals up going into the second leg is, for me at least, totally irrelevant.

Okay so you guys win 6-1 tonight, Honest question, how many of you will go to the 2nd leg. Had it been at the weekend myself and three others would have, as its midweek, I’m working and it would mean booking a day off, which I don’t want to do for a game that will be played like a friendly. It’s just unfortunate for the club really as I’m sure there will be a lot with the same mindset.

Fantastic result, after so many goal shy performances it feels like the new additions have sparked our offence into life.
Great to see that Chermo realised he didn’t quite have the right players or chemistry and made the switches this side of Christmas. Dare I say it but I’m starting to feel that this December may turn out to be a little different.
Curious to find out if we are seeking a replacement for Biggs and what type of player will be brought in.
Hope Gospel gets to ice in the second leg, will be good for him to see some game time.

Alex Guptill is an absolute beast at the minute, Hurtubise has found his shot, Richard looks like he can snipe. A lot to be positive about again going forward. The team again kept it solid defensively as a group, Garnett again showing he’s solid. Another terrific win and I’m really enjoying watching the team again.
Next week let’s see Garnett rested, give Munson the start and give Gospel some ice time if possible. I’d hope Rich gives Tetlow a regular shift as well because that lad has come on leaps and bounds, an assist tonight and he’s looking really solid and very dependable. I’d also hope Hazeldine plays and give him some good minutes as he’s another future star. I hope we get some physicality from Gui as well, there’s a few Storm players who need reigning in a bit.

We will crush them "like a bunch of grapes". Prediction = Storm 2. Panthers 5. You weren’t far off the mark...lol. Worst storm team I’ve seen in ages as we always struggle in that rink, Not going Tuesday off to see Australian Pink Floyd.

Curious to find out if we are seeking a replacement for Biggs and what type of player will be brought in. I'm sure it's purely a coincidence and has no link whatsoever, but Brandon Mashinter has been suspended by Rapid City (ECHL) and removed from their active roster. This usually means they've left and signed in Europe, he's a big power forward who was a PPG player in the ECHL and around a 0.5 PPG player in the AHL. Great offensively and a physical player. He isn't a RW like Biggs was but if there was a player who plays a similar role to Biggs, but better.. He'd be my guy. Cardiff are in the market for a power forward however and Mashinter is still a quality player so perhaps mainland Europe is his destination, who knows, but I'd love him here!
