A relatively entertaining game tonight I thought. 1st period – we should have been 3/4 up, we weren’t cos of Killeen. 2nd period we should have been level not 3-1 up cos of Garnett. 3rd period we seemed comfortable and won, deservedly so. I was there when Lacho had a ‘multi goal game’! Guptill’s finish was sublime. Yes he’s lazy, but that was just sublime. The Officiating was crap! And finally for Chrimbo, will somebody buy Cherno an abacus so he can count how many men he’s got on the ice?!

Can't be many Lacho doubles in the record books. As the famous Welshman Max Boyce said, "I know cos I was there" Think I'm going to have a T Shirt struck!

A functional if not fully fluid performance, certainly the kind that you have to pull out if you’re ever going to compete for anything. Even if it may be too late for us in the long run. Guptill has some fabulous hands on him that’s for sure and Betteridge must be in a iron lung he was forechecking so hard. Tetlow continued to do well. Powerplay was a bit sloppy and gave up several short handed chances, but the penalty kill was superb tonight. Garnett continues to grow with more and more games. All in all, a good win.

Out of nowhere. Lacho’s now on course for a 5 goal season. Must be the haircut.

Win is a win at the end of the day.
Just a small side point - Guptill is now the leagues top goalscorer with 14 (admittedly played a couple more than most)

How good a netminder is Killeen? First time I've seen him and am suitably impressed.

Stattage...
After going 6 games without a point, Guptill now has 7 points in his last 5 games. Hurtubise snaps his 5 game pointless streak in the last minute. Farmer's first pointless game in 5, scoring 7 points in those previous 4 games. Panthers are on a PK streak of 12 occasions, 1,294 seconds. Their second best of the league season so far. Best was the first 13 PKs of the year, all killed, for 1,300 seconds.

I thought the lines were much better balanced last might
