Tough game. Predict 1-3 defeat with lots of penalties to us as the Panthers dreadnoughts chase the speedy Flames attackers. "We are doomed Mister Mainwaring" !

After the showing against Belfast can I please revise my prediction ? Make it 5 zip to the Flames with Panthers collapsing after conceeding an early goal. No guts. Time for change.

I predict that we'll remain inconsistent, as a result we'll be putting our best performance of the season in tonight and all will be right with the world in Pantherland. No changes necessary after all.

He’s only got a 1yr deal, he’s already ruffled the feathers in Panthers towers with picking Storm in the cup, can’t see him here next year.

You really think he won't sign a new contract because he chose Manchester in the quarter finals of the CC? lol
If this team want to progress he must be given 3 years minimum. He's new to the league. The key will be if he was to recruit a slightly different side next year. Even though he's experienced this league is a learning curve for him. If he makes the same mistakes 3 years running I ll take it all back ..

The key to appointing a captain must be that he's flawless in his general play. The last two captains have made far too many mistakes and haven't led by example (Lee and Lepine) compare them to Fox who was explempary in everything he did and you can see why we were successful.

It’s not up to him, NB holds the purse strings he gives the okay to the signings , he tells Rich who his back room staff are going to be. The Storm senario is one instance where he’s not chosen the preferred fixture. Let’s be honest he may well walk away at the end of the season anyway after seeing how everything is run.

Together with signing some quality players, the like of Heddon,Linglet,Dixon,Martin,Dwyer,Riley and Baun would be a good idea too. Wonder how all those guys teams are doing ? I don’t buy the learning curve thing, there’s been other coaches new to this league who’ve done pretty well in the past. Cherno watched games last year so he knew the standard of play and there are also plenty of people around him who’ve been here for years if he needed any advice.

Was Chernomaz a coach last season or a director of hockey? Head coach and "Sports Manager", whatever that means.

Chernomaz wanted to bring his own assistants with him but was told there was no budget for that so he inherited Strachan and Green.

Chernomaz wanted to bring his own assistants with him but was told there was no budget for that so he inherited Strachan and Green. IF this is slightly believable/true........why? Why would Chernomaz (or anyone for that matter) take up Post under these conditions? Only reason I can think of is that he (Chernomaz) is on a massive wage (highly unlikely)........so - WHY?!
