Who's in charge of your rabble this week? Genuine question this, for once. Dowd was coaching from the bench, but there was an older unidentified guy who obviously is the one who has the qualification. Then Matheson is player coach. A shambles if there ever was one.

How about drawing a line under this game and moving onto next week eh?

You have given up 4 points this season already to clan and mk Don't say Garnett is better than bowns it's a insult haha. Time you were banned or at least learnt some basic comprehension. Decent Cardiff fans are welcome, you're a troll.

Cheers matey, sounds a right mess. Fully expect you guys to turn it on next Sat. Adversity can bring out the best given the correct opposition. Plus I might be attending if I'm back in the Country so that's a guaranteed away win.

Horrific, Not many banging on about goals from everywhere, goals all through the team tonight..... Won’t even get close scoring 3 goals a game. Plenty of grit, not enough goals, massive profits but playing short over and over again.

MKL lose 7-0 last night to Belfast, then beat you guys 5-1 tonight, how cockeyed is this league. It’s a pure rollercoaster.

Haven't posted for a while, but have to say we haven't a chance of winning the league with inconsistent performances like this. A 5-1 loss against a bottom of the table team who played their 3rd game of the weekend with their travel schedule is simply not a league winning performance - we're good, just not good enough to win the league yet.

Still very early days, and 14 points on the board from 20 doesn’t look too bad, but it should be 18, other than the Cardiff loss which you can more or less excuse we should never have lost tonight nor to Clan at home. If Devils win their games we’re 4 points behind them. For us to have even the faintest chance of taking it close we pretty much have to take points from all the remaining Devils fixtures and cut out losses to non playoff teams full stop. Not panic stations yet, and we have the points on the board so that’s a plus, but we are so bloody frustrating.

Our priority must be to reduce the penalties. Irrespective of how many players we do or don't have, any team will struggle to win taking as many penalties as we do.

wee wee poor showing. I don't care if Garnett let's in 4 consecutive shots, from the terrible view in MK, I'm not sure he did a thing wrong on the goals. Defence completely AWOL. Putting Gospel in there would be a ridiculous way to destroy his confidence.
Panthers only really troubled Kileen in the 3rd and while the bounces seemed to go against them and they could have had a couple more goals, MK got 4 goals without lucky bounces. First 2 periods we weren't at the races (sound familiar).
Just not good enough. There were enough players on the ice to win the game today, unfortunately more players were AWOL on the ice than injured off it.

Team discipline is a huge problem and Farmer was so wound up he was taken out of the game pretty much all night too. If you spend all game on the PK most teams will lose and add to that MK were just the better team anyway.

Start three players down then spend all night taking stupid penalties and your playing 4 or 5 players short most of the night,it’s just dumb.

Sorry to Agree with Devilsdude, but Garnett is great when he is on his game, but even last night in his ONLY EVER SHUTOUT for Panthers, he made stupid mistakes that could have let Coventry in and negated all the good saves he had made. I am sorry but ONE shutout says it all, he is not consistent enough for us to win the League, and I think as his Uni course takes hold for his final year , his lack of training and concentration will show The distraction of the University course and not being always able to train is why we signed Galbraith last year, but then it shuts out Gospel, leaving him as the third net minder. Its the sort of game we should be bossing and winning. im sorry but you won’t win the league relying on gospel. And tbh he isn’t a rookie/prospect anymore. I’m happy when he gets game time and stuff but you won’t win like that.

How about drawing a line under this game and moving onto next week eh? Because it’s not the loss it’s the way we are losing daft games. It’s a recurring problem of taking periods off as the coach himself says. We have a great team this year and we are beating ourselves.

It seemed like Lepine and Pither were both carrying knocks throughout the game too.
Pither was up and down the tunnel through most of the game, Lepine didn't seem to ice much through the second period and early third period. Tetlow had a few shifts on D during the third and I saw Biggs on D with Henderson at one point, whether that is just how short we are or whether it was a tactical decision I don't know but it's getting quite beyond the point now where we're overdue an injury cover or two.
It was an awful game, I just hope we don't suffer the same fate when Sheffield are in town next weekend.

Different coach. Different season but same old, same old. Injured players but zero news and no cover.
