To make it slightly better it was Niki-midget who missed their last penalty

Chilax! We have someone behind the bench who won't stand for losing their concentration in the 3rd. It should have been a 4 pointer buy we go again on Wednesday. “We go again on Wednesday” ? Pidge mate you’ve been listening to Simmsey too closely ! That’s always his excuse line when they get whooped. 😂

So we snatched victory from the jaws of defeat after snatching that defeat fro the jaws of a victory.
What a bizarre game that was.
Well taken Penalty Shots in the end.
Hurtobise goals were awesome.
Wonder if there is a in house competition for who can score the quickest PP goal.
Defense definitely needs looking at. Hopefully when the need arises, we can come back from 2 goals down

I'm hearing there was crowd trouble tonight. Any truth? Sadly yes. But in the interests of keeping things on the up and up, I’d like to leave the speculation out of the forum. I don’t know which team either fan supported or who was at fault but it happened.

Sadly there is a nasty element in there! I was in block 8 which was mixed with both sets of fans and people at the back, in front of the drummer, were throwing bottles and beer cups down. Pretty disgusting as there were young kids near me, who were also Blaze fans...
To be fair and balanced the blaze fans around us were in good humour and we had a laugh during the match.

Not long home now. We absolutely deserved the two points but we also deserve a slap for letting a two goal lead slip two nights in a row. It was unnecessary. For Coventry's third, Lee was farting about in Coventry's zone trying to pick his stick up as they skate up the ice. If he either goes straight for the changes or goes for a replacement straight away I don't think that goal happens although I'd need to watch the replay. Alex Guptil has some filthy hands at times. Exciting player to watch. Any how we scraped by to get the two points so I'm happy enough. Blaze won the Stanley cup too by picking up a point so everybody is a winner. Didn't see what happened in the crowd as I was in block 9 but seemed to me that Coventry fans were more bothered about our fans than the game for much of the last period. Still who got the last laugh? Still a lot of improvement to come from this side, especially in game management but there's plenty of talent to work with.

Perhaps it will do us good to come back down to earth a bit so Rich can see what the weak points are early doors.
He strikes me as someone who will do something about it and make sure poor D decisions are nipped in the bud.

A lack of discipline at times. A few too many risky passes out of our D zone. And more worryingly D men switching off and losing their man too often. Those problems probably cost us five goals this weekend.

As it stands at the moment we need work to be looking to compete for the league. Loads of individual talent but need to start playing like a team and our defence is a complete shambles far too much throughout the game.

On the one hand, we completely controlled the game, deserved the two points and are clearly the superior side. On the other hand, we lack concentration at key times of the game. Letting a two goal lead slip in the final 5 is poor no matter what, but this was exacerbated as we scored as well! Which is normally enough to knock the stuffing out of the opposition which we couldn’t do. Ultimately, Chernomaz will iron out these issues I’m sure and we still won despite basic errors, which you need to do if you’re competing for honours. I’d rather learn these lessons now than at Xmas or in January.

The main thing is the 2 points. As long As you win no matter how that's all that matters.
Look forward to your game v giants wednesday.
