Strong AHL stint, winner in the DEL, looks a good signing.

Great signing on paper, and with him having had 3 years in the DEL I'd assume Rich knows very well the type of player he is so if he's confident, I'm confident. Looking forward to seeing him in action.

Another quality signing on paper, His stats (though not everything) do seem to have dropped of a little 2 of past 3 seasons. Maybe his role on said teams may have been more defensive. Looking forward to this season already... Liking the assessment of him as a player in this article... Though it is a few seasons out of date. www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/jonathan_rheault/

I was hesitant to say anything up until now but honestly, this roster is starting to look a decent step up from anything we've had before (excluding lock out season). This will be exciting to see what will happen this season.

Another cracking signing. Rich is doing a great job here by the looks of it.
I just can’t help but wonder where on earth we’ve been looking for players in previous years ! 🙄

Looks a great signing. Likely top line winger. If we sign another R wing who is better then that'd be a pretty special signing. The only forwards feom last year I'd consider are those mentioned by most. Mosey, Brown and Pither. They could all fit in nicely with what we have(If put into certain roles)but also wouldn't be too fussed if they were replaces based on the calibre of signings we've seen so far. Mosey is still a good signing if he isn't on top 2 lines.
Pethaps it would look something like
Perlini - Import - Rheault Kovacs - Pither - Import Farmer - Brown - Doty Lacho - Mosey - Ollie
Clearly it could also be a million miles away from that. Perlini played some time on the wing last season aswell as Centre so can be moved accordigly.

I’d agree with you and put Perlini on the wing, I don’t think he’s good enough on face offs to play centre. I’m starting to question whether or not Cherno is going to sign anymore imports from last season, you would have thought they’d be announced by now, e.g. Billingsley. Is he going to have a mass clear out?

Not only do i like Chernomaz's signings, i like his radio interviews too. Short, concise and to the point. No waffle, no "been on the radar for a while", "another piece of the jigsaw" crap. And most of all, very little Moran

Clearly had a bad season last year but the DEL is a massive step up. I’m hoping we’ve got a gem here. Have to say, I’m really excited about seeing this new team now

You guys are building well! We'll be better, we all know Cardiff will be strong, Belfast will upgrade, Guildford retaining start guys.
2018/19 will be some season!!!

I must be the only one who's cautious about this one. And, yes, it's no use just looking at the stats, as we basically all know, but...
Last year Panthers signed a guy straight from the EBEL, with good AHL experience, only 23 years old, having scored 34 points and topped his team in scoring. He didn't turn out so well, by all accounts. Rheault is 31, coming off a season far poorer, stats wise in the EBEL than Bussieries had, 9th in scoring on his team, seemingly tumbling down the leagues. I'll be very happy to be proved wrong, but his drop off in form is 36 points in the DEL, to Panthers, in 3 seasons. That is a concern, for me, at least. Based on an objective look at his current CV (and you're only as good as the last season you played) he's a dead set wait and see as far as I'm concerned.
As always, am very happy happy to be proved wrong.

The thing i am looking forward to seeing, is how the established players respond/play with a new coach. Lee and Lacho have only really ever known Corey and his systems

Good CV and decent age. Should do well and be an interesting player to watch.
It could be that we have the entire "right hand side" of the roster complete.
IMPORT IMPORT RHEAULT
IMPORT PERLINI KOVACS
FARMER IMPORT DOTY
IMPORT LACHO BETTERIDGE
IMPORT HUGHES
OLSEN LEE
IMPORT BILLINGSLEY
