I thought his stats were pretty decent bearing in mind he’s a spare import or at best 3rd or 4th line. He ain’t going on either of the Devils top two lines is he !

From Steve King.
Based on the team finding their form again and how strong our top six forwards are, Lordo's priority was to find a player that can step in to any line and probably just as importantly, have the right mindset to be HAPPY to play on any of our lines. We find that too many incoming imports are just too set on being a top line guy in our league and don't completely buy in if they aren't put in that role. James has made it his top priority to win and that's why he wanted to come to play with us. Can't ask for much more than that!
I think he will do fine and is hopefully a good cover for haddad who is out injured. Nice to see he’s here to win things and not be on the top line.

Don’t worry about mosey he’s enjoying his time here. He’s a character in the dressing room and on the ice after games etc, He’s always making a joke out of everything, He seems to be happy and so are we with him, Thanks.

Yeah, bluster, bluster, rubbish, rubbish.... but is he on the 5th line now?
That was the question.

He'll be bang average with almost certainly at least one more medal in his bedside cabinet than any Panthers' player by season's end.
Cardiff have one import forward who is batting at significantly less than 0.6 PPG (Morissette, very much a role player). As it happens, bottom of that list is Mosey 3+9 from 21 games. Panthers have/have had 4 import forwards under 0.4 PPG (Biggs/Doty/Rheault/VanKleef). The oft heralded Bolduc only has 15 points from his 24 games, despite all the bluster on here. Similar for Henderson, looks the goods and puts the effort in, but with little reward, 4+7 from 20. Mosey is putting up Henderson like numbers, despite being on the 5th line at Cardiff. I'm prepared to give "Lee" some slack, but I'm not sure it's Cardiff's forwards who can be accused of being bang average so far this season. They're scoring 0.8 GPG more than Panthers are.

Wouldn't bet on that tbh Bob, they'll probably take the league (Belfast will fluff their lines as usual), but already out of the cup, which we will be going full tilt for. 1 all (not equal ones, but you still only get one medal). Playoffs is then a crap shoot.
My bang average comment was really just because of the "We take nothing for granted" arrogance that put my back up. He'll probably do a good job for them.

He may not of course unless Giants blow a tyre again this season; they look far stronger than last year with that added experience so I don’t think they will falter. Hopefully should be an exciting run-in Mosey is also playing a role for the team - mostly 4th line forward - covering last few games for Haddad on 3rd line - starts and ends periods as a D man - will also have taken a few weeks to learn Lord’s systems. Sounds like the new guy is jumping straight in on the weekend so Haddad may still be out injured. He of course will take a few weeks to learn the systems too so Mosey may continue on 3rd line whilst he plays a few shifts on the 4th. It was interesting reading one of the owner’s comments on the thought process behind signing the new guy - the usual he needs to fit in the locker room etc - but more so that he needs to be happy he’s filling a role rather than expecting top 2 line slot. We therefore may not have forked out a fortune to get a top quality forward however we’ve got a good AHL quality player who will be willing to play a role on 3rd/4th line but able to step up to 1st or 2nd if required and actually wants to be at Cardiff i.e. happy

I'd be willing to bet he's a decent player in the EIHL. Could Panthers win the Cup, likely vs Belfast? As usual, one never knows.

Obviously we'd need to get there first, and we're capable of losing to anyone, but 3 more big efforts to get a trophy is the Panthers way. Sixty? Nah. If CN was still coach I'd put money on it.

LOL, they've even started recruiting like Hull.
Shame they can't get relegated.

Haha that was exactly my first thought too. Wow the Steelers are really scraping the barrel now,I would even take Sarkanis over this guy. 😂🙈 Perhaps Moose recommended him ! 🤣🤣

At this guys age, Sarkanis was doing well in Russian Junior Major Hockey with calls up to the KHL...
This guys CV is barely NIHL import level.
