Armstrong signs for Sheffield Somebody tell Sam Gospel not to get too comfy in Telford... he's likely to be back here faster than he thought. Either or both of Garnett & Munson to get crocked next week.

Damn, lepine should have saved his spear and instigator for this guy. Seriously though, thats the annoying thing about that ridiculous rule. Armstrong runs Garnett, takes him out, injures him. Lepine is on the ice, drops the mitts and gives him what he’s had coming for a long time. Lepine gets the instigator when the instigator of the situation is Armstrong.

I’d hazard a guess it was on Thommo’s instruction that he kept running the goalies.

Maybe it was Thompson instructing his players to run goalies... but that doesn't absolve the players of any responsibility for the act - they are the ones who actually do the deed. "I was just following orders" doesn't cut it any more. Any player with any kind of integrity would refuse or ignore such instructions... and that's what I have heard directly from the lips of a former player/coach. I like a physical game of hockey as much as the next fan, but within the rules and with a spirit of respect... yes, you can still have a strong physical game and deliver plenty of crunching checks within those limits. Normally I abhor the deliberate targeting of a player, but if Armstrong keeps up his goalie-running ways, then quite frankly - put a bounty on his head and take him out. As ye sow, so shall ye reap... aka what goes around, comes around. It's up to Armstrong how this goes now...

It was thommo. He did exactly the same in Coventry when Cruickshank ran Kowalski!
I don't expect Armstrong to step out of line this time round

Chris Higgins back to Belfast. Are they carrying injuries? Back to 2 extra imports now I think?

He hasn't played since 16/17. This is one of the "old boys doing them a favour" jobbies.

Didn’t think sicknote was playing anymore, give him 6 games and he’ll be out for the rest of the season.

I thought Kopriva was decent tbh. Has he left? Booted by all accounts They originally re signed Nastiuk and he didn’t come,so they signed Mikka, then he got injured so they signed Kopriva, then Mikka was back so they released Kopriva, then Mikka wasn’t playing well so they released him and re signed Kopriva again and now they’ve released Kopriva and signed Hackett. A bit farcical to say the least ! 🤣 Lol
