Can’t see Mosey being back,he’s got a broken hand they’re keeping quiet. As for Spang, who knows, they said he might be back last week and it didn’t happen. And they’ve said the same this week 🙄 He’s a big girls blouse apparently. No Spang or Mosey....there’s a surprise. 🙄 And Lee’s still suspended too. Oh dear ! Good job we got that replacement dman in as soon as we knew Brisebois was leaving.

Every reporter could be more 'thrusting' at the end of the day, I just feel Matt's coverage of Panthers is pretty good and the complaints/abuse are unjust. I'd rather he has some caution when writing articles than talking nonsense like good old Bob Westerdale, but as you say, if he's to continue to be allowed access then he has to go about his business that way, some coverage is better than no coverage. He also manages to provide more information about players than the club do. Stuff with Spang earlier in the week, Brown yesterday and some good stuff with Ling last month. Ripping into the club like a lot of people on here and social media is tedious to read after a while. He should do more stuff with players etc yes, that’s what people want to read and it has got a bit better lately since there’s been some criticism of his writings. But most of what you read in the post, you read it and think “I’ve read this before”. Then you realise, yeah I have, because it’s just a copy and paste from a club website article. As an example of what we should get, when was the last time Mr Black appeared in the Eve Post ? Or god forbid even Moran ? In Matt’s defence, Neil and Gary probably don’t want to be interviewed. The stories may be copy and pasted but some people still get their updates on Panthers in the paper and not via the website/twitter/Facebook so there is a reason for it. I too would like more articles showing us stuff we don’t know already, but as PantherB has said, I’d much rather have Matt covering Panthers and giving us factual interviews and stories rather than Bob Westerdale who will make a story and spark speculation off something as simple as a fart.

Play both Garnett & Galbraith, fill the net and pray! 35 stone guy in the net. Doesn’t need to be fit just fat.

Wow 5-2. Nice. If only they played like this consistently. Sigh.

Have to say Devils are making it easy for us. Granted we have to soak up a lot of pressure but two passes and you have yourself a 1 v 1. Devils are good but I think they player perfect for us, just hit them on the counter every time.

You're both right.
It is 2 points and it is largely pointless.
Good to hear that the fans had something to cheer. Sounds like it was a decent game.

For the second week running I’m speechless. This time in a good way. Quality performance, totally unexpected but something to cheer at last.
Garnett was superb, the forwards passed the puck well, only dumping as a last option, good forechecking too. The D looked solid and composed. Lastly, Josh Tetlow. Big body, solid and composed. Lovely pass for our second goal. Makes CN’s decision to bench him when we were playing short look even more baffling.
Need to find a level of consistency and play like this every game until the end of the season. Then we just may (say it quietly) we may just stand a chance in the play-offs.
Hope Vaskivuo is ok.

We’re crap. We have only half a defence. The amount of spin from club and local press is an insult to the intelligence. I expect a big defeat. Will they ever get anything right?

The optimist in me says 1-5 Devils, then the realist side mocks the optimist at the fact we'll even score a goal! And this is why I don’t do score predictions. great game, great effort, some good goals and a couple of fluky ones. Payback is sweet.

Agree with this, their game seems to really suit us being able to defend and break, a bit like the CHL did. Not the first time we've beaten them in a similar fashion. Belfast managed to soil the bed at home to Edinburgh, so they got away with it a bit.

Great result tonight, we were clinical for once, we played well going forward and no dump and chase!
Cardiff were a big threat throughout though, there ability to keep the puck in the zone, maintain pressure and get bodies in and the around the net is superb, it’s clear why they are going to win the league when you see them play like that, teams struggle to play against that style! Credit to Tetlow who again impressed, I hope he gets regular shifts again tomorrow.
On another point I hope Vaskivou is ok, it looked like he was in a lot of pain tonight and it’s Sod’s law as I thought he looked impressive with Derlago and Pither.

Great win and nice to be entertained for once,we stopped Devils playing their game and actually kept it up for 60 mins!
Bowns let in some really soft goals tonight and we seemed to work him out as most of our goals were scrambles around the net.

didnt go as i stuck to my convictions and as good as the result is this cannot be maintained with just 3 defencemen for any sustained period. Great we got the win but in the scheme of things the club arent really playing for anything as the league is well out of reach now, i guess thats why no further changes have been made to the playing personnel..
To be honest after months now of what are pretty crap results its incredibly frustrating to have results like this against what are now lead leaders as it just shows the team can do it but have clearly not been incentivised to do so over the past 2 months.
