5th season since the Grand Slam and each season we get worse. Name another job (Sport or anything else) where you can steadily get worse, year after year, and still keep your job by telling the boss ‘I’ll get it right soon, I’m just a bit fustrated at the moment’..! Arsene wenger ... done it for for over 10 years hahaha But totally agree it’s not acceptable. Think the major issue is above him still but Neilson really doesn’t help the situation, similar to Arsene Wenger. Too stubborn to change. The only difference between panthers and arsenal is, arsenal spend money on a new stadium. Our owner just pockets it.

Someone tweeted that only Sauve and Garnett acknowledge the fans support at the end and Brock Wilson is shocked at that attitude. What a bunch of absolute losers, people paid good money to travel to Northern Ireland to support the boys and they don't get any thanks. Just demonstrates the lack of leadership and the complete arrogance of this club... Absolutely disgusting I as a Giants fan noticed that straight away, and thought how pathetic that the players didn't go and acknowledge the travelling fans, who had paid plenty of money to travel over. Win, lose or draw you should show your gratitude to travelling fans, regardless of how disappointed they are as players, the fans are equally disappointed

The management don’t care about the fans and they set the example. If the Panthers management has any morals they would issue a statement saying sorry for the players actions. This club don’t deserve the support they get !

A better performance but just not good enough, not a fan the players didn’t come over to thank us travelling fans either. Saw two players out last night and I asked about Corey as coach and got an eye roll and shake of the head. Says it all really, doubt we’ll be seeing some of these players again if Corey is still in charge.

So Ling would have returned after Christmas... if we called him!! www.nottinghampost.com/sport/other-sport/david-ling-never-say-retired-1061243“With family life settled, Ling was ready to come back to Nottingham after Christmas if needed. The call did not come, at least not in time, but he will forever have a connection with the club. “I was willing to come back. Feelers went out and Brampton called me,” he said.”

As much as I'm disaffected I would have paid just to watch him even though the league is dead. The reason is other egos can't cope. Same with Craighead. And can we stop doing that Rasto end of game celebration. It was cool when a cult hero introduced it but it was his. It's embarrassing and the players look uncomfortable doing it!!!

Mmmm,do we know anybody who might be any good at those things ? 🙄 Instead we saunter along an import short, losing game after game, with no sign whatsoever of a Shalla replacement on the horizon. This Panthers organisation drives me nuts with its sloppy attitude !

I'd take Sauve, Mosey, Phillips, Mok, Perlini and Farmer plus the goalies as there is some talent and quality there but I'd get rid all the rest. Based on not signing Ling alone ( although there are another 100 reasons) I'd get a new coach in.

Can he not just return at the end of the season as Head Coach , rather have him over Clarke lmao

If we’re already looking at next season I’d keep the three goalies.
Keep Sauve, Billingsley, Gagnon and Lee on D, bring two new in.
Forwards I’d keep Farmer, Lacho, Ollie, Mok, Brown, Mosey, Derlago, Perlini, Phillips and bring in three 1st line forwards. Clarke will retire.
This team has good, proven players but the coach tactically doesn’t seem to be able to bring the best out of them. Ideally you want to keep the core of your best players and make better additions but if we get a new coach, which is what is needed, then it will probably be a complete new squad excluding brits.
One thing is for sure, the resigning of Perlini due to him being a Brit is a must for next season.

This Panthers team need to concentrate after they've just scored. The amount of times they concede a goal just after they've scored themselves is ridiculous ! I know you all love a good #pantherfact. The answer is 7. 7 out of 106 goals conceded this year have been conceded within 2 minutes (or so, I only record the minute a goal was scored for statto purposes) of Panthers scoring. 1st GA vs Clan 23 September. (A shortie). At home. 3rd GA vs Giants 27 September. (PPG, Clarkie in the box) At home. 3rd GA vs Giants 15 November. Away. 4th GA vs Devils 19 November. (PPG in the 59th minute, with Lee in the box, in that game with the wild finish, so not “normal”) At home. 2nd GA vs Giants 17 December. At home. 1st GA vs Giants 12 January. (PPG, Spang in the box) Away 3rd GA vs Giants 13 January. Away Note that of the 6 “normal” times this has happened, 5 have been vs Giants. 4-4 with less than a minute to go, potentially getting 2 points out of a game on the road with the Giants, how can you leave their top scorer all alone in front of Garnett? Then, on the restart, 22 seconds left, we have the goalie pulled, we win the face off clean as a whistle, and are beaten to the puck and concede an ENG? Could easily have had 2 points out of that game (should've had at least one) and ended up with 0. Finally, wasn't that a pretty poor PS by Buss? Absolute pivotal moment in the game.

Corey says 'special teams were the difference'. Sorry, have to disagree. Belfast are far quicker, more offensive, sharper and were able to adapt to the game situation. AND hungrier.

You know they've gone "we've ballsed up here" better thank the fans on the website Well PR - wise , it’s been an absolute stinker for Panthers this week; fans being dubbed morons in a podcast by the clown princes & then the squad, save for Garnett & Sauve, not recognising their own travelling fans at Belfast. Remarkable.

Points wise we are now closer to next to bottom (12 points) than we are top (13 points).
A season that promised so much is now turning into abject failure on so many levels.
A disgrace to all the paying fans. The club just do not deserve them/us. Drastic changes needed and not just in the playing staff, far from it. Club needs a massive overhaul but I won’t hold my breath.

I have just been passed a brown envelope containing the apparent transcript of a conversation between a young PR guy and a General Manager of an Ice Hockey Club. This conversation allegedly took place shortly after a bit of a PR gaff by the team who failed to acknowledge their large travelling support at the end of a game.
PR Guy – “Morning Sir Gary, can I have a few minutes of your time?”
GM –“What do you want now? Can’t you see I’m busy copying and pasting next week’s game reports for you! It seems I have to do everything round here. I’ve just told the fitness guy I don’t think he’s doing it right, so to have the day off and I’m going to run a Zumba class for the players instead. After that I’ve got a video call with the owner to explain that I seem to have to do everything around here and that the place would collapse without me. So what do you want?”
PR Guy –“Well the fans are going barmy because although lots of them spent lots of money supporting the team away in Belfast for two nights, the team couldn’t be arsed to even acknowledge them at the end of the game. Pretty bad form really – just like the on ice performances I guess. I mean, even neutral fans and Belfast fans are saying how it was well out of order.
So I thought we should put out a statement and apologies for not acknowledging the fans at the end of the game”
GM-“Are you stupid or what, if we start acknowledging the fans, they will think they are actually important or that we care about them!! No, just do the silent thing like we normally do.”
PR Guy-“But this is really bad”
GM-“Okay, how about this, arrange to interview the captain, what’s his name Leigh or something like that, and get him to say something like the players heard a few fans and it was really good. That’ll do – but make sure you don’t apologies.
Now before you go I just want to run this past you, I’m going to do it anyway, but you may as well listen to me.
You know how some of the fans have been moaning that there aren’t enough toilets on match nights, well we could turn this into a new revenue stream, if you pardon the pun, I’m just too funny. I’m going to turn one of the toilets into a VIP season ticket toilet area. For just £150 extra on the season ticket they will get FREE use of the VIP toilet on match nights, jumping all the queues. What do you think? the fans will love it.”
PR Guy – “Well it might work, what will you call it?”
GM-“The ‘Taking The P’ season ticket add-on. It won’t include Cup games of course, but ‘Taking the P’ season ticket holders will be able to pay on the night at cup games at reduced prices.” Anyway, you go and get that video interview thing done, while I just go and have a word with the coach about how I love seeing the guys rush after the ball when they do that dumping chase thing. By the way, did I ever mention to you I used to be big in local radio? You know the local community, local people, not that it was ever about them, it was just about me really – and don’t you ever forget it.”

Needs to stop doing podcasts & concentrate on OFSTED inspections.
