Great result and once again Galbraith proving himself. I like Garnett and he’s a good keeper but I’m really starting to feel that Galbraith deserves the No.1 spot for good until his form drops a little etc., he’s so much more consistent than Garnett.

Great win credit to the team for a 4 point weekend and after a long trip today whilst the Clan have been at home. Credit to Corey too for sticking with Galbraith tonight when it would have been easy to give the nod to our theoretical number 1. Hot goalies win games and championships, surely Galbraith is an easy choice for EIHL player of the week.

Great weekend! Top work Panthers!
Galbraith seems to have edged ahead of Garnett as no1 and rightly so. Nothing against Garnett but PG is more consistent and apart from the megnuts goal the other week, has barely made a mistake. Garnett is superb on his day but not as consistent.
Love this team!

Galbraith certainly has,his stats.... 7 games 7 wins 1.85 goals per game against 94.8 % saves percentage That's some top work.

Been a excellent weekend but to only concede 1 in 120 minutes is very impressive.
Agree that Galbraith has earnt no1 slot now .

Fantastic win, this team just gets the job done! Pleased for Galbraith, he starts next weekend for me, he’s on fire and he deserves to be starting.
We go to war with the Devils now, they’ll come into our building all guns blazing, our fans need to get behind the team next Saturday and spur them on to a dominant performance.
What a time to be a Panther’s fan!

Gutted at the result, wasn't at the game as I was in Glasgow for the Christmas markets but did see a few of your fans at the markets. One was wearing a black CHL jersey, must have been a custom one as the name on the back said Ratcliffe, can't remember the number but there was signatures on the yellow number.
Thing is, I don't remember a Ratcliffe playing for Panthers, could have been the surname of the fan, the shirt looked like this years CHL jersey, didn't see the front.

Loving watching this year's team. The big difference for me is that for the first time in a good few years i sit there kind of expecting us to pull something out of the bag in tight games. Last night against Sheffield i thought after an even start we always looked the better side and more likely to push on and win. And a few weeks ago vs Cardiff, it was a pretty even contest but in the third period we just stepped up and found another gear. Definitely a good time to be a Panthers fan

Just watched the highlights for this game and I can’t help but talk about Gagnon’s fight, he is absolutely ruthless! He made a real mess of Doty in 2 punches and he was struggling to get back up, it’s not the first time he’s put someone down this season either!
Imo he’s the best fighter in the league, a very reliable enforcer, he can play and he’s a key part of our PK. A vital cog to this team who I believe deserves some recognition.

Ive been watching Panthers since 2010 and this may be a bold claim but it think he might be the best enforcer the EIHL has seen in that time

I’ve been a fan for a long time close to 20 years and I’m only 28! I’ve seen numerous enforcers, tough guys, fighters come in the door. Gagnon is up there with the best I’ve seen. In terms of physical presence on the ice there’s been some big boys, we’ve had loose cannons in the shape of Wood, Clarke (Jason not David), Wilson and Penner, we’ve had more tactile guys like McKenna, Craighead (although hot headed at times), Thompson, Charon, Taulbert, Janssen, Salters, Lepine (once he’d calmed down after his first year) McGratten and now with Gagnon. We’ve also seen guys like Ndur who wasn’t the best but would step forward without hesistation. It’s a role I wouldn’t choose that’s for sure if I played. Personally for me in terms of making players accountable, team protection and also galvanising the team Janssen is top of the tree, he hit, he fought, he was a joker in the room and such a huge positive for mood and so energised in interviews and engagement with fans. Gagnon could become that player and I hope to god we sign him up to an extended contract when this season ends!!
