What happened to the person who allegedly recorded the Q & A session, 'Sevcik' wasn't it? Sevcik has been very quiet for a couple of months, mind you he only surfaces when there’s an axe to grind or he’s trying to dump someone in the poo poo. Obviously the players have been behaving themselves as that’s the only time you hear him. If anyone actually knows who he is in real life I could really use that recording of the Q&A as it would prove without any doubt that I wasn't even the slightest bit aggressive towards NB.

I find it shocking that the supporters are not assisting you, This had got to be their purpose? Hasn’t it? A link between supporters and the club? Not fit for purpose then. I also find it a bit out of character for black to ban one fan, for no reason? If everything happened exactly as you say, it would be very interesting to find out how they got hold of your name and address. Could the supporters trust have given it to the club? Could you be the fall guy? Too difficult to work out what’s going on here without all the exact facts and details. i It makes you wonder if this ban is almost to scare people off from this Supporters Trust, it looks like a few feathers have been ruffled or Black and Moran are worried about having to declare or make publics things about the club you all know what a closed shop they are. They’re using fright tactics which makes them look very shifty. I hope you make enquiries Rob or ring citizens advice about the leaking of your address and where you stand on this ban being as the incident didn’t have anything to do with the arena. That's exactly it EMB and unfortunately it does seemed to have worked.

Unfortunately Rob it won’t actually prove anything, what you have been accused of is entirely subjective an open to Neil black’s/the clubs interpretation and that is evidently where you are already struggling with them

We all know that the real reason for my ban is that I was the guy behind the Supporters Trust taking off. NB obviously didn't want to engage for whatever reasons people want to draw for themselves. By banning me he has effectively cut the head off the snake. I wasn't backed by the trust and hence stepped down. I really do hope that someone with drive and energy takes on the chairman role and starts to push this forward again. It can only be a positive for all the fans of the Nottingham Panthers in the short, medium and long term. Out of interest Rob, how did the Trust not back you on this? Is there some action you feel they could have taken that would have improved on the situation you are currently in? The wording implies to me that you jumped before you were pushed which if that is the case doesn't bode well for a trust that appears to bow quite easily to pressure.

The decision of the trust after taking advice was that as the ban was for me personally and didn't mention the trust it wasn't a matter they could get involved with. I guess they felt they couldn't use an organisation which represents the views of a couple of hundred people to fight an individual matter. I wasn't pushed at all by the board members, quite the opposite in fact but I felt it was a case of back me or sack me to an extent. I am really disappointed at how it has all played out as I put a hell of a lot of time and effort into it.

I thought the trust would be there to support the little guy, not abandon him when the going gets tough.

Sorry to hear your plight, looks like you have been sold out by the trust. Maybe switch your allegiances to team Moran. Offer to volunteer for him or sponsor something lol
You are just going to have to sneak in or grow a beard, get glasses and order tickets under a different name and address.
The sad thing is some good fans have been banned and no one in the club or trust seems to care.

The Trust is dead and buried to be quite honest. And with the pig headed, secretive twosome running the show at Panthers it was always a complete non starter right from the outset. Can’t see them ever acknowledging the Trust even now Robs gone, because to do so now would indicate that the clubs sole problem was Rob himself.

I am really disappointed at how it has all played out as I put a hell of a lot of time and effort into it. That sucks mate. All the time and effort you put into setting up, running and growing the trust, yet the minute you ask for something back, they abandon you. I remember the first meeting, 11 people. You kept going and now there are 200+ members. So much of this is down to you. You won’t agree with me on this but to me the trust was you. As a mate I was happy to help out where I could, standing in the wet and the cold handing out leaflets, anything. If anybody else from the trust approached me and asked for help now, would I do it? Sadly, probably not. Good luck mate, I hope you get the ban overturned sometime soon. It’s massively unfair and unjust. Ironically it’s made the gulf between club and fans even wider which is exactly the opposite of what the trust was set up for. Neil Black should hang his head in shame.

"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

From what I understand (admittedly with zero first hand knowledge of the events), Rob has been singled out and made an example of as a warning to others. Why? Because he had the audacity to work his nuts off to represent Nottingham Panthers fans' interests. Rightly so this ruffled a few feathers so they have banned him.
Sorry to be so frank but the lack of solidarity from his fellow fans is as shameful as the club's actions. Hand-wringing and platitudes just won't cut it I'm afraid.

I am puzzled myself.I am aware of the ban and the club are right now sniggering upon what they see as a good job done. However I thought I read that Rob said 'I wasn't pushed at all by the board members, quite the opposite in fact....' so I assumed by that ,that he understood that the Trust had acted upon advise and I assume that to be from the company supporting Trusts. The same support group that the Trust (inc.Rob)aheared to all along.I've been away from all this a while but as a member get updates. There was to be a meeting recently then this was cancelled and I wondered why.Surely a good time to group together and update/discuss and fact find.

There seems to be a lot of assumptions on here based on misinformation and blind ignorance. Is the trust dead, I wouldn't have thought so. They seem to have gone quiet recently and that is probably due the loss of Rob. The last communication from them said that they are now a very small team and have asked for help from the members. How many on here have said that they are members? How many have offered to help? Or are people content to sit back and do nothing apart from be keyboard warriors having a pop at everything about the trust and the club?

Will you be leading the protest at the Devils game, Herr Niemoller? I feel sorry for Rob and especially for his son, and I think the Club's response is way over the top and indeed worrying for the wider fan base, but with respect to them I also think it's a bit much to expect an interim board of a Trust that's still basically at embryonic stage - they've still not met with all of us yet - that was setup to be a positive link between the club and the fans, to make its first action be going to war with the owner. They'd be spiking their own guns permanently.

Alternatively we can all stand around saying 'ah sorry Rob.'

Cup quarter final. Boycott worked beautifully once against Braehead with a crowd of only around 1500.

I really do appreciate all the thoughts and comments on this thread and while I understand the idea behind a boycott I really don't want to cause any disruption. I just want the club to stop being daft about this whole thing and let me and the boy back into games so we support our club.
The thing with a boycott is that the players don't deserve it. Especially this season, it's horrible missing games as a supporter and it would have to be a massive boycott for them to do anything.
Maybe something less public and disruptive could be coordinated?
Yotes is right, all fans should be concerned. Where does the line stop?

Pretty sure it was a show of displeasure about our performances, I'm also sure it was a Wednesday Night Challenge Cup game either so attributing a low attendance to a so called 'boycott' is clutching at straws a bit. Boycotts on a low scale get nowhere, you need a big scale one to catch attention and that's never going to happen. It's a stupid idea and the only ones who suffer from it is those who chose to 'boycott', won't affect the club whatsoever. Any further attempts to essentially force the removal of the ban will probably only make things worse imo, best to just leave it for a bit rather than keep pouring fuel on the fire by aggravating Black and GM.

I wouldn't say it was clutching at straws. Bit of a coincidence that the previous game boycotted resulted in the lowest attendance by an absolute country mile ever seen at the NIC.

Didn’t achieve much in the long run did it? Also I doubt that the majority of the fan base are not aware of Rob’s current situation so what would a so called boycott of a few hundred (trust members for example) really achieve? Bet they wouldn’t even notice.

I do wonder if you think it would be "best to just leave it for a bit" if it was you who had been banned for 2 months already for no good reason. I probably doubt it.
